"I can't believe you picked 'Back to You' for yo last single," Harmaya repeated for the millionth time today as we headed towards the record store set from our trailer. This being our second to last scene to shoot for this music video.
"Yes, Harmaya," I replied, as I held her hand in mine
"I know you probably annoyed by me saying it so much now, but it's just crazy to me 'cause that one's my favorite," she admitted, giving my arm a gentle squeeze. Her eyes scanned the racks of records that filled the space. "And I thought you wasn't gonna do it 'cause it ain't really fit."
"I wasn't, but things change," I said with a smile and a shrug as we stopped beside Oscar, who was busy directing the crew and adjusting the camera setup.
"This one's gonna be simple," Oscar explained, glancing between us. "I'mma get a shot of just Harmaya walking through the store, then one with both of y'all entering to see which fits better. After that, you two will browse around, interacting. Deuce, I need a few shots of you rapping to her, and some solo shots of you as well," he said, pointing to the setup.
