I was chillin' at home when a loud knock echoed through the front door. Before I could even get up, Dai's voice rang out, "Maya Bear!" She burst in with her usual energy, immediately wrapping me in a tight hug as I opened the door.
"Dai babyyy!" I exclaimed, closing the door behind her as she stepped into the living room. "How you doin'?"
"Good, good. Everything's straight, and lil' baby doin' well too," she said with a smile, patting her belly.
"You need anything?" I asked, heading towards the fridge.
"Yeah, just a water would be cool," she replied. I grabbed two bottles-one for her and one for me-and handed her one as I plopped down next to her on the couch.
I pulled out my iPad, swiping through a couple of mood boards I'd put together. The options were all different themes: a Twinkle Twinkle Little Star theme, a 'How We Wonder What You Are?' theme, a bee theme with 'What Will It Bee,' and a Lion King-inspired 'Prince or Princess' theme.
