The conference room buzzed with energy as I stepped in. Jayson was at the head of the long glass table, his laptop open, papers spread out in front of him. Around the table, the rest of the team—my label execs, PR heads, and a couple of marketing reps. They didn't look stressed for once—they looked excited.
"Deuce," Jayson greeted, glancing up with a nod. "Right on time. Grab a seat."
I sat down near the middle of the table, leaning back casually as everyone adjusted their notes and pulled up files. The screen behind Jayson lit up with a bold graphic: Eternal Blessings—April 20th. Underneath it were the projections: 250-300k First Week.
"Alright everyone, we're in the home stretch," Jayson said, tapping the screen with the back of his pen. "This is where we're at. First-week numbers are looking crazy already. The singles—'Girl Nxt Door,' 'Street Dreams,' and 'Back to You' are doing big numbers."
Tony, one of the sharp-dressed execs, nodded in agreement. "This rollout's been seamless. Fans are engaged, streams are up, and socials are buzzing nonstop. We're ahead of schedule."
