17❄️ US, AGAIN

Yesterday was a rest day for them so Mingyu decided to stay at his apartment the whole day. Even Wonwoo asked Mingyu to join him and DK for the lunch, but he refused. All the members hang out with each member, their friends, or family but not Mingyu stepped out of his room. Mingyu was upset all day about what happened last day but he had no guts to talk to Joshua. He did not want to see the members being apart. So as the day ended he decided to take the first step to clean this mess for the team's sake.

"Hello!!"

"Who is this?"

Everyone was about to start practicing when Mingyu entered the practice room. Everyone looked at Mingyu while his eyes were searching for Joshua. He could see him at the corner of the room with DK and Jeonghan.

He stepped towards him because he wanted to apologize for what happened the other day.

"Hyung!! Uhm- I really didn't mean that. I am so sorry for yelling like that."

"Okay! That's my fault though. It's a lie if I said that it didn't hurt me but I can understand. I know so don't worry let's forget it." Joshua stretched his hand signing Mingyu to do a high five which he did.

"You are free tomorrow morning, right? Since the performance unit has a schedule so let's have breakfast together." Mingyu said. "Suddenly??" Joshua was surprised when Mingyu asked. "Not suddenly! But you know- mhm, it's on me." He proudly responded. "So you two are going for breakfast without me? Only you two?" That was DK, who kept silent til the end. "We are just going to clear the air Kyeom ah. Don't ruin it." It was Mingyu.

"Hmm hmm. It's okay! Even if you invite me, I can't come. Jeonghan hyung said me to come with him tomorrow." DK said looking straightly at Mingyu and that made Jeonghan to take off his eyes on his phone.

"Excuse me! I did, what?" Jeonghan frowned at DK confusingly.

"Look! I have such a kind-hearted hyung unless that clumsy brat." DK said it frowning at Mingyu.

"I am, wha-"

"Guys, let's start!" Seungcheol announced them to start the practice session.

Since some of them have a schedule tomorrow, they decided to leave early than on other days. Mingyu came up with an excuse to leave alone and asked for a car. Their manager couldn't let him drive alone but Mingyu didn't want the manager to come with him. On the promise of returning before 10, he let Mingyu go alone. While he was driving to his destination he was thinking about the thing he is going to do. He argued with his own mind but he didn't want to stop this. He has already set up everything. People say 'it's better to die than to do nothing.' So he took his first step. He stopped the car when the red signal light on the color light. Till it turns into green he thought about the reason to do this.

"I shouldn't do this."

Actually, the thing that will happen or not doesn't matter to him. But he saw how Joshua controls his pain. He shows his happy face to the world but his inside is all in pain. They have come on a long journey together. Their bond has turned into a family more than a team. So he couldn't let him endure it alone. He knew that beginning is more painful but there was nothing to do with that.

Mingyu came to his senses when a car behind his horned nonstop. Then he saw the color light had switched to green and then accelerated the car.
