'or was this the part where i'd scream for help and run for my very dear life?'

1 year later

Kaylan's POV

"You ought to get sued as a writer for making me cry this much after reading the masterpiece of a novel you wrote." She faked a cry over the phone.

"I suck at happy endings, I know." I tell her.

"There was no better way for it to end than what you wrote and it just gets more emotional anytime I think about it."

"Most of my online readers said Kate and Noah should've ended up together but what they don't understand and don't believe is that Kate is a representation of me."

"I do believe that your book is about you and your highschool and teenage experiences but what I don't understand is why would Kate's sister; Cece who is obviously the representation of me get pregnant with Noah's brother baby?"

"Oh about that part, I decided to add a little spice to your character."

"Why my character? When you had lots of characters like even a sex addict bestfriend, couldn't you get her pregnant instead?". Cassandra Evans would always be mean.

"Cassie, relax."

"No, I won't. You clearly know I would have anything in this world but to carry Nate's baby."

"I thought you've forgotten all about Nate?"

"A year isn't enough time to forget about the person that wants you dead."

"I'm sorry, I thought you might have moved passed it."

"Yes, i've moved passed it already and i'm happy here, safe and secured."

I've never been more glad anytime Cassie reassures me her safety.

She was doing okay.

"I actually called you to congratulate you on your big day which is today, your official first book launch." She paused. "I bet you don't know how proud I am of you."

"You're gonna make me cry now."

"I'm gonna facetime you now to make sure you actually cry."

"Wait-" it was less than a second before Cassie switched the voice call to a facetime.

I accepted.

"I knew you were not gonna cry on your big day." She attacked me once she saw my face.

Please Cassie is so pretttttyyyyy.

"I didn't expect you to look this peng after crying over a book." I attacked her now.

"I thought I looked sober enough?"

"No, you look perfectly fine."

"So you don't believe that I actually cried?"

"Your word against mine."

"The final chapter actually got me, when Kate and Noah finally parted ways for good and she was packing some of her stuffs to take to college and she found a picture of herself and Noah at the beach doing that cute thing highschool couples do and she realized,  'no matter what, her life was never gonna be complete without him but she just had to choose the life that was best for her. THE END' please that line got to me and I brought my love life to questioning because I had never experienced any consuming love close to what Kate and Noah had experienced." She paused. "Kaylan you've literally lived every highschool girl's dream of wanting a bad-boy and having him and then loosing him because you realized he's bad for you and of no good."
