((ENDLESS)) Punz x Reader

Part III

"Are you sure we have to wait for her to wake up?" I heard Punz speak, "It's already going to be a lot of pain..."

"Be quiet, it's for the purposes of finding the truth," Dream replied, "Stick to the plan! Wait for her to wake up, and then untie her. Since you're so sensitive, I'll be the one to throw her over the cliff." I couldn't help but make a small noise of shock, they couldn't be serious! My adversary continued, "Shh, I think she's waking up!"

I didn't really feel like waking up. It felt like some sort of sadistic fever dream. Then again, I also didn't feel like being stuck in this chair forever. I fluttered my eyes open, and Punz started untying me. I glanced around, unable to speak. The frigid air of the snowy mountains jolted me awake, and the gorge below was certainly intimidating. There were rocks, boulders, and trees before I would even hit the ground. This was seriously no time to be optimistic. Once the rope was off me, I tried to escape, I tried to scream, do anything! But this would just be the beginning of an onslaught of tortuous events. This particular "challenge" would see if I was able to fly. Unfortunately, that didn't end up working out.

Dream pushed me over the edge, and I plummeted downwards. I hit tree after tree on the way down, and finally hit the bottom with a thud. My head was somehow spared, but multiple of my bones were broken, and blood began to ooze everywhere. I felt frozen, unable to move, or even cry. I ended up fainting, and awakening in a bed back at the base, shards of a healing potion were on the ground. I hadn't even died-? Part of me wished that had, because things wouldn't end there.

"Do you think she's immune to fire? Or immortal?" Dream asked excitedly, "Oh wait she did die after all. So maybe she isn't really a god! Unless DreamXD and the other gods lost their lives during the nuke as well."

"I don't even know what proof you have that she has any powers!" I heard Punz retort, but Dream just carried on, "Do you remember how she never had a shadow, but never noticed it? Do you remember how she would go to sleep, and then wake up at random places all over the map?"

"This is getting ridiculous. I want out!" Punz seemed to panic, and for a millisecond I recalled a memory of when our house went up in flames. Some prank that was owed to Clingy Duo. Wait, what was Clingy Duo? I opened up my eyes again, and saw them arguing just outside the room.

My hands were tied together with a rough knot, the same one the speedrunner always seemed to use. Speedrunner? A few things were beginning to click in my brain, but before I could figure that out I needed to escape this place. There was a candle on the other side of the room, and I rolled out of bed. My feet were also tied, but I was able to worm my way over to the dresser. Trying to be as quiet and sneaky as possible, I used the wall and my chin to hoist myself up. I bumped the candle onto the floor, and dropped to the floor as well. I heard Punz pause from the noise, but go back to yelling again. I burned the rope off my hands, then my feet. Somehow they hadn't noticed, and I heard them walk into another room.

There was a small window in the room, but even if I broke it I wouldn't be able to squeeze out of it. I peeked my head out the doorway, and ran the opposite direction I had heard them go. Thankfully, it was the way to the entrance, and I left the underground bunker. It was officially time to run for my life.

The snow was beginning to fall from the sky, which would make it easier for them to track me. I ran through the spruce forest, but my footprints were leading directly to me. There wasn't a solution to this problem, and I knew that they were tracking me already. My suspicions were confirmed, and I heard the voices of Staged Duo.

"Do we really have to capture her?" Punz said sympathetically, "Seriously Dream! I can't get over this, it's too extreme."

"You will do as I say or else," Dream retorted, "You don't have the death book memorized anymore," I could practically see the smirk on his face, "Ever since I gave you that silly little potion of mine. Anyways, once we capture Y/n, all her secrets will be revealed!"

I was able to climb up one of the slippery trees, but only to the lowest branch. My heart began to pound, and suddenly stars began to dance around my eyes. Before I could process what was happening, blackness swarmed around me for what seemed like the millionth time today. What- what was happening?!?
