"You saved my life," I whispered, "How can I ever repay you? Why, I'm just a stranger! You have no reason to do something so amazing like that for me... Thank you Nikki, you're a hero!"
"Awh it's nothing really," She blushed, "I think we can be really good friends! You never did tell me your name- but then again you never really had time."
"I'm U/n," I introduced myself, "But you can of course just call me Y/n. Speaking of which, what brought you to the area in the first place? Also, how did I never notice your home in the back of the mountains! I swear I'm blind sometimes."
"Actually," She explained, "I lived really far away in a hole in the ground- awful I know. It was just a bad place to build. Techno ran into me while I was gathering food, and we really hit it off. Him and Ranboo told me all about you, so I decided I had to come and help. I found the cutest flower field and decided to build a hobbit-hole there, and Tubbo really helped me! It was super easy with two sets of hands. It's barely decorated on the inside though," Nikki laughed, "Anyways, I saw Dream and decided to follow him, which led me to you."
"Wow," My eyes lit up, "I guess I owe another favor to Techno," I tied my horse against an acacia tree and leaned against the tree and into the cool shade, "And to you. How can I repay you?"
"All I want is a friend," She smiled, and I immediately replied, "Well you've definitely found
one! It's not safe around here though, and they'll be after us. I have a friend, his name is Foolish and he's a literal god. We should probably head there after we rest a bit."
"Sounds good," Her face turned into a smile, "I saw Punz. Gosh, I'd be surprised if he wasn't a god looking like that," She sighed dreamily, and for some reason I felt a pang of jealousy. She liked Punz-? A tiny part of me wanted to say that I did too; but she had already helped me after all.
"So you saw him?" I questioned further, and Nikki continued, "Yeah I did... Is it childish of me to develop a crush on a guy I saw only once in the woods and is the enemy?" She chuckled, "Probably, but the heart does what it wants."
"You're probably right," I laughed, but again I felt another pang. It was weird, but perhaps Punz was one of those smooth but memorizing bad-boy types. Kind of felt hard to think about that, he seemed cold most of the time. Then again I'd seen the soft side of him- But why was I even analyzing this? There was no point to it, and the plan was to develop a relationship and then destroy everything to annihilate Dream.
I ended up describing the goal to Nihachu, and she seemed to shrug it off. Damn. At this point why not just start simping for Nikki? Kidding, but she was as pretty as a goddess, I'll admit that.
