Narrator Pov

Deep under the water lay an obsidian box. Y/n had spent the last two months surviving on ratios and pure wits, trying not to teleport out; although on occasion it happened. Twice she ended up in a lava pool, just as she dreaded. Once, she died. It hadn't been cannon, but it was quite painful.

The box could barely contain her powers, and once a week she would have to get lava and create another barrier. The second Y/n stepped foot out of it, though, she began teleporting all over the place. It was a prison, but what could she even do?

One fateful morning, an old friend tracked her down. Ranboo. It was quite the task getting through the water, but with some doors and tricks he made it inside. The enderman spent the day comforting poor Y/n, who was on the verge of breaking down. The two both had their own sets of problems. Enderwalking and teleporting were both equally bad; you could end up anywhere in the world with no clue how you got there.

It seemed like everyday her powers grew stronger, and she longed for the pain and frustration to be over. The only solution was to have DreamXD or some god come and remove the enderman side of her, but how? Everything was confusing, particularly since Y/n didn't even know how she had become an enderman decedent. She wasn't tall like Ranboo, or even have black hair.

Y/n Pov

The cold obsidian box was driving me crazy. The light from my lantern flickered across my face and slightly illuminated the room. The sound of water and waves repeated over and over again. I closed my eyes and dreamed of having a picnic. Warm sun and soft grass... no more waiting for Ranboo's visits, just being able to be free again.

Suddenly I saw purple particles dance around the room, not again. Not only was teleporting frustrating, but exhausting. Especially when I tried to plan where to teleport, for example back to the box. I curled myself into a small ball and felt all the air get sucked out of me. My soul was practically ripped from my body, and I traveled for a good couple seconds; looks like I was going far away. I felt my face hit the sand, and I struggled to stand. Foolish walked towards me, had I seriously gone all the way to his house? I'd never gone so far before.

"Y/n?!?" My friend grabbed me, but the particles returned. I shut my eyes tight, praying it would bring me back to the obsidian box deep below the ocean water. It was at least a little less likely for me to teleport. My energy was drained though, and this time nothing happened.

Foolish brought me inside his house and I murmured, "I must go back to the obsidian, or it will happen again," As the god of building he hurriedly made a structure to contain me. After a few hours of rest I finally spoke, my voice horse, "You must help me, remove my powers somehow! Oh please Foolish, you're a god for crying out loud!"

"Only my brother can do that," He explained, "And we aren't on speaking terms right now, thus why I've been banished here. If I could do something U/n, I swear I would!" FoolishG said sympathetically, "Although, I can sense your immense power. No wonder Dream wished to capture you."

"I just want it to be over," I pleaded, "To walk and breathe and live with no fear, how I used to live. This all started after Dream died."

Foolish thought it over for a moment, and in a grave voice spoke, "So the predictions were true... He upset the balance of the universe too much. You're just the first step Y/n, your minor powers growing hectic with every death or revival," He paused, "I think I have a solution, but you may not like it."

"Wha- what?" I asked, confused.

"We have to revive Dream."
