The first thing I noticed about the Nether was just how hot it was. I quickly deconstructed the portal and took a better look around me. Lava rippled in the ravine below me, and Piglin Brutes were roaming the place with their golden weapons. Carefully I walked across the lava on an already-made bridge towards the Warped Forest. Hoglins were angrily watching me, and a Ghast spotted me.

Deflecting the flaming ball with my sword, I killed the floating creature. Its screams echoed around the cavern and brought me the chills. I finally reached the forest just as another Ghast appeared, and hid amongst the trees. Spooky sounds were making me on edge, and I saw an Enderman start to come towards me. I struck it and the tall being teleported. Quickly I grabbed my device out of my backpack. A boat that was compressed sprung out and it became stuck. I killed the creature and it dropped an ender pearl.

After six more enderman I came out with a whopping four ender pearls; looks like the odds were with me today. Continuing on my journey I made it to a Bastion. Too scared to enter I trapped a few in a hole and began the trading process. I ended up with twelve ender-pearls total and hoped it would be enough. It was now time to make my last stop, and the trickiest of all; the Nether Fortress.

The corridors were long, and Karl had already raided all the chests of good loot. While I was distracted at a chest one of the most feared mobs came towards me, the Wither Skeleton. I blocked its sword with my shield and crit it into a heap of bones. Racing to just find the Blazes and leave, I found the spawner. Eight of the flaming beings were flying around and I grabbed my bow and arrows. Aiming carefully I hit the first one, and fire began to fly towards me. It burned my arm slightly and I quickly splashed down a healing potion. The first one I killed dropped nothing, and I couldn't help but feel disappointed. It took me a good while, maybe a few hours, but I was able to collect ten blaze powders. I could've gotten away with nine, but I wanted to make sure I had enough.

I finally rebuilt the portal and ignited it with my flint and steel. After that I made it into a birch forest; huh, I'd never seen that before. I cut down some of the wood and made a crafting table. Using the recipe from the book I successfully created Ender Pearls. I threw the first one into the air and began to walk in the direction. Only a few hundred feet later it came straight down, nearly hitting me on the head. What were the odds of that? I began to mine down until I reached the Stronghold. What to even do next?
