A few days had passed again, Nikki going back to her normal self in no time. She wished to visit Wilbur, but he had recently gone to the nether for a few-week trip. This was all very troubling to the both of us, but there wasn't much we could do. We weren't well-equipped to handle the harsh nether, and the only reason we had any netherite ingots was from trading with our neighbors; along with a generous gift from Techno.

Today would be a different one however, for a special visitor knocked on our door. At first we heard one simple knock, then two. My heart dropped straight down. Has Dream found us? Was I going to be brought back there and tortured again?

"It's Punz," Nihachu whispered, putting down her cards (we were playing go-fish. I saw him out the window too now, and grabbed my sword from the other room. Nikki opened the door, axe in her hand.

She swung as hard as she could; he was still the enemy after all. Punz easily blocked the blow, as he had come prepared. Terror caused me to act on impulse, and I wildly swung my sword. He deflected my attack and had me pinned the ground in only a heartbeat. Nikki began to get anxious, and used her axe again. Punz blocked it with his shield, shoving her to the ground. My friend had the wind knocked out of her; but at least nothing serious happened.

"Here's what you're going to do," Punz instructed, "I'm going to let you get up, and you're not going to attack me. After that you will listen to what I have to say, and we're all going to take down Dream together."

Silence from the both of us. Why did we have any reason to trust him? For all we knew this was going to be some sort of grand scheme to have us fall right into their trap. He'd been nice enough once, but we couldn't trust he wouldn't backstab us in the end. Our own plan was to do just that!

"Do we have an understanding?" His voice became even more gruff, so I slowly nodded my head in compliance.

Timeskip about twenty minutes, and we were hitting things off like old friends. Apparently Dream had decided it would be a great idea to rob Punz of all his good armor for himself, proceed to boss him around everywhere, and even force him to burn down his own home. After all of that he finally had enough and left, seeking revenge. Our plan wouldn't involve betrayal anymore, which was a plus! Of course we still couldn't trust him one hundred percent, but this was a good start. Maybe we could even become friends in the future or something.

"Do you... mind if I stay here?" Punz asked uneasily, "Again, I don't have a home anymore."

"There is no need to explain it!" Nikki insisted, "Of course you may stay here with us! You've been such a big help so far, and we could really use more people like you." Nihachu really was the sweetest person; I had to admit that.

"Yeah," I agreed, "Without you, our plan would probably end up in shambles. We can finally take down Dream and make him pay!"
