I could smell bacon cooking in the next room. That made me want to get out of bed even more. I slid out of bed and walked into the kitchen, Mom and Dad were sitting at the table, and grandma was just finishing up the bacon.

Deena walked into the room. Joy.

Shit, I totally forgot about last night. She didn’t know where I was. I’m praying to Jesus she doesn’t say anything to Mom and Dad.

“Morning family,” Deena yawned.

We all said good-morning at the same time. We all sat at the table eating breakfast, waffles, bacon, toast, and some fruit, my favorites.

“Hey mom?” Deena asked.

“Yes Deena?” my mom replied.

“Can I go into town today?” Deena asked with a grin on her face.

“Sure.”

“YAY!” Deena leaped out of her chair to go get ready.

“Take your sister with you!” My mom yelled to her.

“Why do I have to go everywhere with her?” I asked with attitude.

“Because she is your sister and I would like for you guys to spend some time together.”

I got up from my chair to go her ready for a boring day. Since we are going into town, I think I should dress somewhat cute today. It’s pretty nice out. Good capri weather. I put on a pair of light capri jeans and a cute gray ¾ sleeve shirt. As we were getting ready to leave I slid on my bright blue TOMS. No make-up for me today. I don’t see a point.

Deena and I were both in the car on our way into town it was about a 30 minute drive from where my grandma was. Not a big deal to Deena though.

“Okay so here’s the plan: you can go where you want, but keep your phone on you so I can tell you when I’m done.” Deena said with her eyes on the road.

“Okay..” I replied.

“And where were you last night? I wasn’t worried. But how did you get home?”

“I took a cab. I got a little lost when I was looking for a bathroom.”

I obviously couldn’t tell her I went to the hospital because Liam Payne hit me with a door. She would 1.) Not believe me and 2.) Freak at the possibility.

“Well whatever.” She hissed.

We finally got into town. There was a Starbucks, so I figured I would chill in there while Deena was out shopping or doing whatever. I walked up to the door and there was a person in the window with his hood and sunglasses on. I realized at my second look who he was. I went into Starbucks and ordered a Passion Tea and Lemonade. There was a couch open next to him; it was pretty empty in there. He had his arms crossed in front of his chest, with his head down.

“Do you mind if I sit here?” I asked.

He just shook his head.

“I’m sorry were you sleeping? I didn’t mean to wake you.” I chuckled.

He looked up and around the Starbucks before he spoke.

“How did you find me?” he asked.

“How did I find you? I wasn’t looking.”

“Oh, well what are you doing in town? Your grandma’s isn’t close at all.”

“My sister wanted to come down here and my mom made me come with her just like last night.”

“Well I’m glad you found me. Why haven’t I received a message from you yet?” he wondered.

“I forgot to be honest. Sorry.”

I had a Coach hipster on my lap. He took it and searched for my phone. He found it in the side pocket. He typed his number in and called his phone so he would have my number. This was the last thing I wanted.

“So what are your plans besides sitting in here for hours waiting for your sister?” he asked handing me my phone.

“Nothing.”

“Great, come with me.” He said standing up.

“I’m not going anywhere with you.” I implied

“Come on, you will have so much fun!”

“Well where are we going?” I asked.

“I’m going to take you on a tour of the city.”

I got up off the couch; his car was in front of the Starbucks we were in. I walked around to the passenger side. I looked around to look for Deena. She was nowhere in sight. I got in the car and Liam drove off. He still had his hood down and sunglasses on so people wouldn’t know who he was.
