I fluttered my eyes open. I forgot where I was. I forgot that Liam and I were in the same bed. I forgot we danced. I looked over to my left to an empty space. Liam had gone in his room. Seeing his flat in the natural light was different. The door to the guest bedroom was open a crack. I got out of the bed and walked towards the door. I could hear some movement in the kitchen, he must be awake. I walked into the kitchen to see Liam pouring a bowl of Coca Puffs.
His back was facing me and I had a feeling I would frighten him when I said something. I sat at the table where his place was set. He whipped his head around to see what the noise was.
“Good morning love! How did you sleep?” he asked as he was walking to the table with his cereal.
“I slept well, how did you sleep?” I asked.
“I slept great. You kept me pretty warm the whole night.”
Didn’t he say he was going to lay with me until I fell asleep? He slept with me the whole night. I didn’t mind, I guess it’s just a little surprising to me.
“If you’re hungry there is Coca Puffs and Lucky Charms.”
I got up from the chair to grab the Coca Puffs.
“Bowls are in the cabinet right above the sink.” He said.
I poured some cereal into my bowl and joined Liam at the table.
“I’m going to take you home around 10 okay?” he said
“Okay, but why 10?” I asked.
“Well I do want to hang out with you for a little while. I’m sure your family is going to want you with them some of your trip.”
“That’s fine.” I laughed.
When I was finished with my small bowl of cereal I took it over to the sink and rinsed it out. Liam’s phone started to ring. I turned around to go sip back down with him as he finished his second bowl of cereal.
He pulled his phone out of his sweat pants pocket. He looked at the caller ID, he just stared at it. He pressed the top button to lock his phone and ignored the call.
“Is everything okay?” I asked him
“Uh yeah everything’s fine.” He gave me a fake smile.
I ignored his fake smile. I didn’t think it was my place to say anything. We weren’t dating. I had no say. Or were we dating? I mean last night, we had dinner, we kissed, and we danced. I can’t ask him that though. It would be embarrassing both ways.
Liam finished his cereal. As he was rinsing off his dish I walked into the living room. I sat on the couch; Liam was standing in the doorway with a pouting lip.
“What’s wrong?” I asked sitting up with concern.
“I just really need a hug right now.” He said walking towards me.
I stood up to hug Liam. I wrapped my arms around his back and he had his arms around my waist. I hugged him tight. I could hear his heart beating fast. He took a deep breath in and felt something drop on my cheek. It was wet. I looked up to see what it was. Liam’s eyes were full of tears. The phone call he got just a few minutes ago must have really got to him.
I hugged him tighter. I wanted to do something to make him smile. I don’t like seeing him cry. I looked up to him, his eyes were slightly shut. Another tear escaped his eye. I placed my hand on his face and wiped away his tear with my thumb.
I stood on my tippy toes and closed my eyes; I placed my lips against his. The slightest smile appeared on Liam’s lips.
“Are you okay?” I softly asked.
“I will be fine, thank you for the hug.” He replied.
We both sat on the couch together. He put his arm around me and we lay on the couch for a little while before we got dressed. I put my clothes on and folded Liam’s shirt and put it on the bed. I heard a knock on the door, it was Liam.
“Almost ready to go?” he asked.
“Yup.” I said grabbing my things and walking out of the room with him.
We walked out to his car so he could take me home. I got in the car and put on my seat belt. Liam did the same. He looked tired from crying. I was afraid to say anything. He pulled out of his parking space and we were on the road to go back to my grandmas.
“Thank you for everything. I had fun.” I said breaking the silence.
“I’m very glad you came over and stayed the night. You are welcome anytime.”
I smiled and looked out the window, it was sunny. I looked back over at Liam and the sun was beaming on his beautiful face, making his skin sparkle. He looked my way gazing into my eyes. He grabbed my hand and leaned over to give me a kiss.
We were about 20 minutes from my grandmas.
“I have been thinking, I really like you, and I wasn’t to introduce you to the rest of the band. I think they would really like you.” He blurted out.
“Sounds fun.” I said.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to meet his friends, I kept thinking about how I can’t get myself involved with him. But I’m already so involved. I really like him. This was still something I had to think about. We got to my grandma’s house. Before I got out of the car Liam grabbed my face and kissed me. It was a deep kiss that lasted for a while. I pulled away and licked my lips.
“I’ll see you soon love.” He said.
I shut the door and walked to the front door of my grandma’s house. I walked in and of course Deena was complaining about something. What was it this time? I walked passed her and my mom talking. I walked into my room and left it open a crack so I could hear what she was complaining about.
“Liam has a new girlfriend! This is not okay. I really want to know who she is!” Deena huffed.
Oh. My. God. I really hope people didn’t see us together and find out. No one can know about this yet, if there are pictures of us on magazines that would be the end of my life. I walked out into the kitchen to grab a drink. And try to get something more out of Deena and what she knows.
“Who has a new girlfriend?” I asked.
“Liam Payne from One Direction, why do you care?”
“How do you know he has a new girlfriend?” I asked.
She pulled out her phone and scrolled through something. She showed me her phone which was a tweet Liam had tweeted yesterday.

He was talking about me, because he cooked for me yesterday. This can’t be happening.
