After a lovely dinner, Nate and Becca walked hand in hand out to the car. He lead her to her side and opened her door to help her in. He then walked to his side and got in the car.

"I've had such a wonderful evening with you, Nate. Thank you so much."

Nate took her hand and kissed it. "It was my pleasure. Thank you for everything."

Becca smiled. "You're welcome. So, home?"

"I actually had another idea. What would you say to going to the pier with me? We can just enjoy the scenery there."

"Sure, that sounds great."

Nate drove to the pier and got out of the car. He walked around and helped Becca out of her side. Taking her hand in his, they walked to the pier.

They both sat down. Becca was leaning back into Nate, and Nate had his arms wrapped around Becca. They were enjoying a light conversation.

"So, AJ and I were talking about the next musical earlier today. We were wondering if would you like to be in it?"

"Really? I'd love to. I had a blast the last time." She smiled remembering how fun it was... aside from the other drama going on that day.

She sighed contentedly. Closing her eyes, she just listened to the waves and felt Nate holding her, his strong arms wrapped protectively around her. She was so happy in this moment.

Nate couldn't believe his luck. He finally had the girl of his dreams. He was dating her. He was here, holding her, embracing her.

He kissed her temple. He pulled her in tighter. He breathed in her shampoo scent. Lavender. He will never grow weary of this feeling.

Nates phone alerted him to a message. He rolled his eyes. He didn't really want to be disturbed right now. He pulled his phone out and checked it.

"Everything okay?" Becca turned and looked at him with concern.

"Yeah. It was AJ saying they were going to bed. If one of us is out, we do that so the other knows not to expect us awake."

"That's kind of you guys."

"We figured it'd be better than accidentally being loud when the one out gets home."

Becca giggled. Nate looked at her in the moonlight. She doesn't know how beautiful she is. He put his hand up to stroke her cheek.

Her smile faded as her gaze grew more intense on him. He doesn't know how handsome he is. She glanced down to his lips and back to his brown eyes.

His gaze hadn't left her eyes. He saw her glance down at his lips and back up. He wanted to kiss her fervently. "May I?"

She nodded. Her want for him grew stronger each passing moment.

He slowly came towards her, giving her a chance to change her mind if she wanted.

The moment their lips touched, it was like fireworks exploded in the sky. They both had been waiting for this moment for so long, and it was better than either of them could have imagined.

She wrapped her arms around him, not wanting to lose contact. He brought one hand up in her hair, the other wrapped around her waist.

When they finally broke apart, they were both breathless. They smiled at each other.

"Wow." Becca was rendered speechless.

"Wow." Nate stroked her cheek again.

Becca turned to her side and leaned back on Nate again. Not even knowing what to say, she snuggled close to him.

Nate held her close. He kissed the top of her head. He was content in this moment.

They sat together, listening to the waves, exchanging kisses, and just being with each other for another hour.

When they finally decided to leave, they walked back to the car hand in hand. He opened her door for her, and closed it when she got in. He got in and drove her home, holding her hand.

Pulling into her driveway, she sighed.

"Are you okay?"

"I just don't want this night to end. It has been perfect with you."

"I know. I feel the same way. But we will see each other again soon. I promise." He kissed her hand. "Wait here."

He got out and opened her door for her. They walked up to her door hand in hand.

"Thank you for everything tonight. It was quite enjoyable." She smiled. She unlocked the door and let them in.

"It was, wasn't it?" He laughed. "Seriously, though, thank you. You made this night perfect. I couldn't think of any better way to start a new day than to be together with you." Smiling, he pulled her in for a hug. They kissed again, and reluctantly he pulled away. "I had better get going. AJ and Gwen will probably send out a search party if I'm not home soon. I'll text you when I'm there." He stroked her cheek again. "I love you, Becca."

"I love you, Nate. Night."

"Night."

They kissed again. He walked out the door and to his car. Buckling up, he thought back to the night. He had never had more perfect of a night. He started the car and drove off.

Stopping at a light, he was singing along to the music playing.

His light turned green, and he started going. Hearing a screech, he looked out the driver side window. All he could see were headlights that should not have been there.

The crash came next. Nate's car spun around, finally coming to a stop.

Nate was slumped over, cuts on his head and face from the broken glass. Blood dripped down from the cuts.

The other driver got out and went to check Nate. Seeing him slumped over, Damien smiled to himself. He pulled out his phone. He called Cat. It went to voicemail.

"This is what you made me do. You betrayed me and told them our little secret. This is all your fault. Next time, don't mess with me." He hung up and dialed for an ambulance. After giving the anonymous tip, he took all of his possessions out of the other car, including the registration, and left.
