I opened my eyes and found myself in a forest, an awesome forest. Taking a better look around I notice that this environment is different from what it should be: plants of abnormal colors and sizes, and animals... Wait, that monkey has four arms?! Did I see right??! How is it possible?
Where am I? How did I end up here?
'Think, think, think, think' I repeat to myself trying to remember and understand.
The last thing I remember is the truck hitting me while I was trying to save my sister. Yeah, truck-kun strikes again, it's always him!
So this is the afterlife? Honestly I didn't imagine it like this.
While looking around, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a figure; a tall, blueish figure.
Who is that? Is that an avatar? The figure looked at me and smiled softly:
"Child, nice view isn't it?"
"Yeah, but who are you? Where am I? Why am I here?"
"I am a being who used a figure of one of my children familiar to you to communicate with you. You're in one of the places where all my children live and you're here, child, because I want to give you a second chance in the world you were destined to be."
"In the World I was destined to be? What does it mean?"
"Your soul belongs to this World but was sent by mistake to Earth and into another dimension. Now you're here and I want to give you the chance to live where you belong, that was denied to you in the beginning."
Y/n was shocked, she didn't expect this plot twist.
So the film she saw years ago and she was a little obsessed with portrayed a world that really existed but in another dimension and most shocking of all is that it was her real world.
She was thrilled to have stumbled upon the world she so admired and wished she could visit in real life, but she was scared too.
Yeah, scared, because Pandora was a hard world in which a modern girl like her maybe couldn't survive.A thousand thoughts raced through her head as fear rippled through her: Fear of abandoning everything she's ever known, fear of not being able to survive, fear of losing herself, her identity which in the end was never really hers.
For several minutes she didn't talk, trying to digest all that information and the figure didn't put any pressure on her, allowing her to take her time to accept it all.
In the end Y/n after taking deep breaths and calming down, she decided to accept this reality, to accept this possibility, maybe in this way she would really find herself, maybe she would understand why in her previous life she always felt out of place and maybe she would found a way to fill the void that has always felt inside, as if something really important was missing.
After she made up her mind, the figure looked at her with motherly love:
"I see you've made your decision. Welcome home, my child" they said spreading their arms as if they wanted to hug her.
After this, in the arms of the figure began to expand a white light that became more and more blinding until everything went white and y/n felt sucked in.
