Weeks passed from that night and Ìsyai had finally recovered.
At first, every time she closed her eyes to sleep, flashes of that nightmare would appear, making her dread sleep and the night and not allowing her to rest, but as the days went by, this discomfort subsided.
She didn't know why, but the psychological burden of this nightmare was heavier than the previous one.
Maybe because she felt useless, powerless before the greatness of fate;
or maybe because she thought her actions had only made the situation worse; or maybe because she didn't know how to prevent the events and therefore how to act and every day could be 'THE DAY' of the tragedy, placing a lot of psychological stress on her.In any case she tried to be strong by placing a calm facade and behaving nonchalantly, as if nothing had happened.
Aonung immediately sensed that something was wrong and became worried. Seeing that she didn't want to talk about it, he chose to respect her wishes but became very overprotective of her.
Not knowing what upset her so much, he became a mother hen with her, even if it seems surreal.
If before, when they were friends he was stuck with her most of the time, now that the two of them were together, he became a leech because of his concern.
His care for her made Ìsyai's heart melt but at the same time she felt suffocated by his omnipresence, so she ditched him often to stay with kiri (the most) and the others, much to his displeasure.

Ìsyai and Kiri were observing how the grains of sand were moved by the movements of the water.
It was an extremely fascinating phenomenon, strange but beautiful.
The growl of Ìsyai's stomach made the girl get out of her daze. It was almost afternoon and the two of them had skipped lunch, grappling with their immersion in nature.
They needed to eat so she called the younger girl :
"Kiri, I'm going to get something to eat, do you want something?"
"Oh? Sorry, I was watching the grains. Did you say something?" she said with a dreamy expression.
"I'm hungry and for sure you will be too. I'm going to get something to eat. Any preference?"
A growl from Kiri's stomach confirmed what she had said.
"Oh. Well, I'd even eat a rock right now, so anything will do"
Ìsyai nodded and at once made her way to the Marui.

When Ìsyai returned with her favorite snacks, she saw an unexpected scene:
Aonung and his friends were fighting against the forest boys, and the two brothers were winning.
Ìsyai became very annoyed.
She couldn't turn away for a second that this happened, and she didn't like be a babysitter.
She decided to end the fight.
"Stop!" she shouted firmly
The group immediately froze and looked up. From her gaze they realized they had messed up and immediately split up, glaring at each other.
She didn't know the reason for the conflict so she shifted her attention to Kiri to be informed.
"He called me monster" she said pointing at Ao'nung.
Lo'ak gave him a smug smirk.
"But he punched first." She said gesturing Lo'ak, whose smirk immediately dissipated, replaced by a betrayed expression.
Ìsyai gave Ao'nung a disbelief look.
Why was it always him? Couldn't he at least force himself to accept them? Was it that hard for him?
She knew from the beginning that he was a skxawng and that his mother's way of thinking would affect him, but she didn't think he could be that close minded.
She released a defeated sigh and Ao'nung felt ashamed of himself.
He disappointed her, again.
Ìsyai gave Kiri her bag of snacks.
She approached with a serious gaze her stupid boyfriend, standing next to him, facing the deep blue teens. She raised her arm and brought her hand to the back of his neck, making him bow slightly in apology.
"Apologize." she said with a cold tone.
Even if he was the next Olo'eyktan, he had to be humble and acknowledge his mistakes, then try to fix them.
"Sincerely." She remarked with a tone that left no room for arguing.
Ao'nung gulped. He had never been in a situation like this before and it made him uncomfortable.
"I'm deeply sorry for insulting you, Kiri" he said after a while.
After a few seconds of silence a 'Tsk' was heard.
The attention shifted to the author of that mocking sound: Lo'ak, who, from his expression, didn't believe one bit the sincerity of Ao'nung's words.
The tension rose once again and while Neteyam was scolding his brother, trying to make him apologize, Ìsyai thought that separating the two would avoid escalating the situation.
"We have to go" she said, taking Ao'nung's hand and pulling him away.
