That morning the 'training' of the newcomers' children would begin and Híkmoe was begging her sister to come.

"Please Ìsyai, Tsireya invited us to help them teaching, please come too, please, please, pleasee" said Híkmoe pulling out once again her trump card: puppy eyes.

If there was one thing Ìsyai couldn't resist, it was her sister's puppy eyes, they always managed to convince her.

"Okay, okay. But I know you only do it because you want a wingman to help you with that boy" said the older one;

Híkmoe instantly blushed, embarrassed that her sister had seen behind her 'schemes'.

"I-it's not true!"

"Oh, is that so ? Okay, then I won't help you" said Ìsyai

"NO, YOU MUST HELP!"

"Oh, didn't you say that boy had nothing to do with your begging to make me come?" said the older one raising her eyebrow with a smirk.

'I got you' Ìsyai thought

Híkmoe realised her mistake and blushed even more.

"I-Well..." she started to stammer, not knowing what to say.

Ìsyai giggled at her reaction. Then, placing a hand on her shoulder in a comforting way, she told her:

"Hey, it's okay. I would have helped you anyway. We're sisters, aren't we? We always help each other"

Looking in the direction of the group of children that need the training, the older of the two said to the other :

"Now let's go, I have to know my future brother in law"

"S-sister!"

And the two joined the group.

The arrival of the two girls caused the shift of attention to them. The older of the 'strangers' immediately greeted the younger girl:

"Kaltxí (hello), I'm Neteyam. Fyape syaw fko ngar? (What's your name?)"

"Kartxí, I'm Híkmoe. Smonn nìprrté (nice to meet you)" she replied with a soft smile.

"Beautiful" murmured Neteyam and realizing he had said it aloud and not only thought, he tried to 'save' himself by saying:

" T-THE NAME. THE NAME IS BEAUTIFUL, NOT YOU. NO, WELL, YOU TOO, BUT I MEANED... " The poor guy began to ramble.

'It's a disaster. Oh no, how do we stop it now? 'Ìsyai thought concerned.

Luckily the amused laughter stopped the rambling. And the boy found himself staring at her with a lovestruck look.

Ao'nung interrupted the moment with a cough and the introductions continued.

The group started swimming and the deep blue skinned members enjoyed a lot the exploration, remaining fascinated by the sea creatures.

Among them, who captured Ìsyai's gaze was the older girl in the siblings group, Kiri.

Her connection with the Great Mother was extraordinary and seeing the awe with which she observed the surroundings, made Ìsyai smile.

She knew how the younger girl felt. She knew how it felt to be able to feel Eywa's presence and voice.

Ao'nung noticed Ìsyai's smile and followed her gaze to see what she was looking at, and was surprised to see that the girl he loved was looking at that strange girl, Kiri.

'Do I have to fear competition from girls as well now?' thought the poor boy concerned.

The Metkayina teens, swimming, decided to go deeper, expecting the rest of the group to follow.

As they swam around, Ìsyai and Ao'nung started joking and teasing each other before starting to chase each other like little children, getting away from the others a bit. They were like in their own world and they were so adorable.

Finally Ao'nung managed to capture the latter's girl. Their faces had never been so close and this allowed Ao'nung to better admire her majestic beauty, which made his heart skip a beat every time. She was ethereal.

His heart hammered in his chest while he slowly brought his face close to hers to give her the chance to withdraw if she wanted to. He eyed her plump lips while his mind wondered what they tasted like.

Just before their lips touched, his one sided love stopped him.
Delusion flashed in his eyes while his heart ached for the rejection.

Extremely embarrassed, he immediately thought of apologizing to her for trying to cross the line, but before he could, Ìsyai pointed to his sister Tsireya who was trying to get their attention.

If a look could kill, Tsireya would have already died because of her brother, for interrupting the time of his life.

His sister pointed out to them the deep blue people who could not keep up with them and go down deep.

'I knew it! It's always their fault. ' thought Ao'nung extremely annoyed.

Tsireya and Ìsyai quickly surfaced to figure out the problem, while Ao'nung remained behind, waiting for his flushed face to return to its normal color.
