Ìsyai was in her Marui, helping her mother to cook.

It was getting late, Híkmoe hadn't returned yet and their mother, Ti'ruey, was starting to worry.

Ìsyai offered to go find her younger sister, reassuring Ti'ruey all the while.

The girl wasn't so much worried about her younger sister, as I knew that wherever she was, she was safe with Neteyam.

So, to find Híkmoe, the older girl had to find Neteyam and the last place he had been and where maybe he is still now was his Marui, so Ìsyai headed there.

Arriving at the Sully's house Ìsyai made known her presence and greeted Jake and Neytiri, who were sitting around the fire chatting.

"Good evening Mr Sully, Mrs Sully" She said

"Good evening Ìsyai, come in" said Neytiri with a gentle smile, happy to see the girl.

"Good evening to you too, Ìsyai! How many times have we told you to call us by our first names? The 'Mr and Mrs Sully' make us feel old."

"I know, but I adore make you feel old, old man" the girl replied with a playful grin

The expression on Jake's face made Ìsyai and Neytiri laugh.

"This little-" He started to mumble

"Do you know where Neteyam is?"

"No, why?" Jake asked

"Oh, well, I was looking for Híkmoe, since it's late and she hasn't returned yet. She and lover boy are always together, so to find her I just need to know where Neteyam is" she explained with a shrug, like it was an obvious thing .

Jake nodded, her reasoning was flawless.

Neytiri smiled at the words of the younger girl. She was really happy that her son finally found his special person.

Thanks to her, since they had arrived in the Awa'atlu village, Neteyam was always in good mood, with a big smile on his face and that longing look typical of a person in love.

After all the bad thing that happened to them and having abandoned their home, their people, finally her son was happy again, and with him the others too.

"Wait, where's Kiri?" Ìsyai asked the two adults.

Neteyam was with Híkmoe who knows where, Lo'ak was surely trying to woo the naive Tsireya and Tuk was taking a nap; Kiri was the only one missing.

The two adults expression morphed into a sad one and they gestured silently with their heads a 'room' of the marui.

From the expressions of Jake and Neytiri, the metkayina girl knew that something wasn't right, and her instinct said the words of Ao'nung and his stupid friends (except Rotxo, he's an angel) were the cause.

In the other 'room', Kiri was sitting on the edge with her legs hanging out. Her feet touched the water and little golden fish swam all around.

At other times she would have been captivated by the beauty of those fish, but right now Kiri was busy observing the sea and the slight reflection of her face in the water, wondering if she really was a monster.

The words pronounced by that skxawng had hurt more than expected, probably because they affected open wounds.

Kiri had always been the strange girl in every sense: from her mysterious conception and birth to her deep connection with Eywa, the girl was never normal and this is always what she thought.
