As Alice and I climb out of the rabbit hole, I look towards the engagement gazebo and laugh. "Alice practically no time has passed here," I said grinning at her. Alice looks and groans at the thought of still having to tell Hamish no. "Let's go do this," Alice says confidently.

Alice walks to Hamish while I walk to mother and grab her hands, "Mother I have something to discuss with you as soon as Ali is done." Mother nods and looks at Alice. Hamish sneered at Alice's dress, "Alice?" Lord Ascot looks concerned, "Good Lord. Are you alright?" Mother also looks at her concerned, "What happened to you?"

"I fell down a hole and hit my head. I'm sorry Hamish. I can't marry you. You're not the right man for me. And there's that trouble with your digestion." Alice says softly to Hamish. I grin at her choice of words. "I love you Margaret, but this is my life. I'll decide what to do with it." Alice tells our older sister. Alice keeps moving down the line to our family. This might take a while. "You're lucky to have my sister for your wife, Lowell, and you be good to her. I'll be watching very closely." Alice told Lowell, glaring at him. I hum in approval, causing mother to elbow my side. "There is no prince, Aunt Imogene. You need to talk to someone about these delusions." Alice held Aunt Imogene's hands. Alice then glares right at Lady Ascot, "I happen to love rabbits, especially white ones." Alice then walks up to mother and me, "Don't worry mother. I'll find something useful to do with my life." She then looks at me and grins, "Besides, you'll be very happy with the news that Adrian shares with you and Margaret." I groan in distaste. Alice, it's hard enough to tell mother and you want me to tell Margaret too?! She then looks to the Chattingway twins, "You two remind me of some funny boys I met in a dream." Lord Ascot steps up to Alice, "You've left me out." Alice smiles, "No I haven't sir. You and I have some business to discuss." I grin as Lord Ascot looks at me with raised eyebrows, "Adrian?" I laugh softly, "There is something I've been meaning to inform my family about and I've given Alice the idea to talk to you about our father's business. I'll more than likely won't be around to help see it though."

Lord Ascot smiles, "Shall we speak in the study?" Alice grins at him and nods, then turns to me, "Adrian, tell mother and our sister what you told me and we will make plans for everything once Lord Ascot and I are done. I won't leave until I see the main event." Mother and Margaret walk over to me and grab each of my arms, not letting me go. I laugh nervously and smile at my mother innocently as she glares at me.

Alice starts to walk to the Ascot's study, then turns around suddenly, "Oh. And one more thing." My eyes go wide as I see her start to do the Futterwacken. I cheer her on and smile. She throws her dress down and then walks off. As soon as she is out of sight and everyone leaves, mother and Margaret turn to me and cross their arms. I chuckle nervously.

This will be a big shock.
