The Muggle Girl

Chapter 1

I was sat in my room watching the rain as it fell down the window. I could have met up with my friends today but they were all busy so I was stuck inside. As I'm lost in thought my aunt calls me from downstairs
"Y/n! You have a letter here." ,
I knew exactly what it would be. I get one every year. I walked down stairs to be greeted by my aunt holding the letter up to me. I take it out her hands and rush up stairs again opening the letter. As I sit at my desk I start to read it.

Dear y/n,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry again this year.
We hope you will consider joining us when the new term starts.

Albus Dumbledore.

Dumbledore himself decided to write to me this time in hopes to get me at Hogwarts. I was considering it all summer this year. I would be joining the 5th year there, but I knew most of what they would teach me anyway as I taught it to myself last year. Also it would mean leaving my friends in the muggle world.

"I'm going." I thought to myself.
I wrote back to Dumbledore tell him that he would be expecting me in the new year. After that i decided to start packing as it was only 2 days before I would have to leave, I had everything I already needed i just had to find where I put everything as my room was such a mess.

~2 days later~
I was trying to find an empty carriage on the train, eventually I came across one. I put my bag away and sat down. My hood was up so no one could tell who I was. About 5 minutes later 6 people came up to the door.
"Hi, can we sit here." The only girl in the group said
"Yeah sure."
They all came in and sat down.
"My names Pansy Parkinson, nice to meet you." She said while smiling.
"Y/n, Y/n Potter" I say as I pull my hood down. They all stare at me knowing exactly who I am.
"The girl who decided to turn down Hogwarts 4 years in a row to go to a muggle school has come to Hogwarts." The blonde boy says smirking.
"Seems like it." I responded sarcastically.
"Wait Potter?" The boy sat next to pansy said.
"Yup."
No one knew my last name it was kept out the media.
"Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." The blonde boy spoke, "And this is Blaise Zabini." Pointing to the boy sat next to pansy. The other three boys either side of Draco stayed silent as Draco introduced them. "This is Theodore Nott, Tom Riddle and Mattheo Riddle."
"Nice to meet you." Theodore said smiling at me.
"You too."
The two riddle boys just stared at me I didn't bother saying anything I couldn't be asked to get into a fight on my first day.
"Why now have you decided to come to Hogwarts y/n." Theodore spoke breaking the awkward silence.
"I needed a change in scenery I guess."
"Well I'm glad you did, me and you are going to be great friends." Pansy said with a grin on her face. Eventually everyone was on the train and it started to go. I was hoping to see my brother on here but it didn't matter as I would see him at Hogwarts anyway. I hadn't spoken to him for years apart from the odd letter that I received from him, telling me about what he's been up to.
"What's it like in the muggle world." Blaise says taking me out of my thoughts.
"It's great!" I respond
Draco and the Riddle brothers just roll their eyes at me. Pansy, Blaise and I continue talking the rest of the journey, Theodore joined in sometimes, while the three others just sat there in silence not listening to us.
