Chapter 9

Harry and I get to Sirius' house late that night. "Come in." Sirius says gesturing for us to come in. "Y/n you've grown so much" He says, I haven't seen him for about 6 years. "Why are we here Sirius?" Harry says. "I will tell you tomorrow. For now go to bed it's very late." I go up to my room that I used to stay in before I stopped visiting. Nothing in there had changed, it was a small room but it held the most memories. I lied down on the bed and fell straight to sleep.

The next morning I woke up and went downstairs to see Sirius and Harry talking. "So why we here" I say interrupting. "I will tell you both later for now sit down and eat." Sirius responds. "Im going out after this" I say "Why" Harry asks. "I've got to see someone." I respond. Once I had eaten I got ready and left the house. I went to the woods where I had planned to meet Ben for the last time. The woods used to be our spot before we split.
"Y/n?" I heard him say from behind me. "Ben..." "How have you been?" He asks me. "I've been good" I say. "You not going to ask me how I've been?" He says laughing. "Nope because I don't really care." I say getting annoyed. "Here" I hand him the necklace he gave me years ago. "Y/n I'm sorry" He say getting closer to me. "No. don't." I move back away from him. "I don't want you to message me anymore Ben." "Why because of your little boyfriend" He says, I had completely forgot Mattheo said that to him. "Just don't message me anymore I don't want to hear from you again." I say leaving him in the middle of the woods.

Once I get back I go to Harry's room. He was sat on his bed fiddling with something. "You okay?" He asks. "Yeah" I lied. Sirius enters the room and sits on the chair in the corner. "You still haven't told us why we are here" I say looking at him. "Before I tell you guys, you need to promise you won't tell anyone. Im telling you both for your own safety." He says. Harry and I look at each other confused. "Spit it out" I say getting annoyed. "You know who is back" He says looking down. "What!" Harry and I say at the same time. "I wanted you both to hear it from me" He replies. "But that means..." I say. "Yes your both in danger." He finishes what I didn't want to say. "How?" Harry asks. "I don't know" He finishes. He leaves the room leaving Harry and I sat scared and confused.

The next day Harry and I are back at Hogwarts. Im sat in the Slytherin common room on my own as I didn't have class for the rest of the day. "Y/n! Your back" I heard someone say behind me. It was Pansy. "When did you get back?" She says now sat on the other sofa opposite me. "This morning" I respond. "We've all missed you" She says smiling. "I've missed you all too" I say laughing. Soon after the others come back from class. Mattheo and Tom walk straight past us and go to Mattheo's dorm. While everyone else sits down. "I'll be right back." I say following the two boys. I knock on the door and Mattheo opens it. "What do you want." "Can I come in" I say looking up at him. "No" I barge past him anyway. "I said you can't come in!" He shouts. "I don't care!" I shout back. "Both of you stop!" Tom interrupts. "Why are you here Y/n?" He asks. "Do you know?" I ask looking at them both while sitting down on Mattheo's bed. "Know what!" Mattheo shouts. Tom catches onto what I'm talking about. "Yes we know" He says looking down. "For how long?" "Only since you left" He says. "Look Y/n, we don't want to work with him but we have no choice." Mattheo says sitting down next to me on his bed. "What does this mean for our friendship" I say looking at the two boys worried. "It means nothing Y/n, Mattheo and I are going to protect you and your brother the best we can" Tom says reassuring me. "Why her brother" Mattheo complains. "Mattheo he's her brother!" Tom shouts at him. "Fine" He says. "What if your dad finds out your doing that though" I ask them both. "You don't need to worry about that" Mattheo says. "Okay but I want to help you both in anyway possible" I say. "No you just go on as you were, we don't want to draw attention to ourselves. If everyone knows he's back it won't end well for anyone" Tom says.

Tom leaves the room leaving Mattheo and I sat on the bed. "I wont let anything happen to you 
Y/n. I promise." Mattheo say's putting his hand on my knee.
