I woke up early the next morning. It was Saturday. Pansy wasn't in the room, I got up and got ready. I pulled out my phone. Ben had messaged me again. 'Where are you?' I leave him on read. And put my phone in my pocket. There was a note on the desk beside my bed. 'In the common room with the boys' It read. I head down to the common room where the others are all sat down talking. "Morning, sleepy head" Mattheo says. "Morning" I respond sitting down next to him. "What did we miss?" Pansy says confused. "What do you mean" Mattheo says. "You two where shouting at each other yesterday and today your like best friends" Tom says. Mattheo and I laugh. "Don't know what your on about" I laugh. "What are we doing today?" Mattheo says changing the subject. The others look around the group still confused. "We could go Hogsmeade" I suggest. They all agree. As I stood up of the sofa my phone falls out my pocket. "What's that?" Draco says pointing to the phone that's now on the floor. "It's nothing" I say picking it up and putting it back in my pocket. Pansy looks at me and leaves the room with the boys following behind. I follow soon after.
Mattheo and I are at the back of the group following behind. "Since when did you have a muggle object?" Mattheo whispers. "Since I started living in the muggle world." I respond still whispering so the others couldn't hear us. "You will have to show me how it works" He says. "Since when do you want to know about muggle objects" "That doesn't matter, anyway who else knows you have it?" He questions. "Only Pansy and now you and the others" I respond. "They wont know what it is so don't worry." He reassures me.
Once we get to Hogsmeade, we go to some of the shops like Honeydukes. Then we all go to The three broomsticks and all get butterbeer. We sit in the seats in the corner so we are out the way of everyone. I sit in between Mattheo and Tom, with Pansy opposite me with Draco and Blaise either side of her. And Theodore sat at the end of the table. "So are you two going to tell us how you became friends?" Theo says looking at Mattheo and I. "Nope we will not, but just know Y/n I will get you back for dying my hair." He laughs. "I wouldn't expect anything less" I respond. "Why won't you tell us" Blaise complains. "Because that's not important" I laugh. "Come on tell us" Draco says. "No. End of." Mattheo shouts getting annoyed. Everyone stops talking. "Mattheo calm down" I say making him immediately calm down. "Y/n is it true that you smelt Mattheo in the love potion?" Tom says. I didn't think anyone would hear about that. "Wow things gets around fast at Hogwarts" I say going bright red. "So it is true" Draco says confirming what everyone already knows. Mattheo laughs "Of course it's true." "Who did you smell Mattheo?" Pansy questions. "No one" He replies also going bright red. As he says that my phone dings in my pocket. I put it on silent under the table hoping no one heard it. "What was that?" Theo says looking at me. "What's what?" I respond. "That sound." "I didn't hear anything" I say trying to play it off.
"Don't you two have detention again today" Blaise reminds us while changing the subject. "Yeah we do" I say checking the time. "We should probably get going." Mattheo and I say goodbye to the others and head back to Hogwarts. "Why would Snape give us detention on a Saturday" I say annoyed. "It's Snape no one knows" Mattheo responds. Once Mattheo and I get back to Hogwarts we go straight to Snape's classroom. He is already in there waiting for us. "Does he not have a life" I whisper to Mattheo as we enter the room. "Sit down both of you and shut up" Snape says looking at us both. We sit down next to each other at the back of the class. I pull my note book out of my bag and start drawing as I am going to sit here for the next hour. After about 30 minutes Snape leaves the room. "Quick let's go before he gets back." Mattheo says. I agree, we both get up and run back to the common room laughing. The others aren't back yet. "Do you want to chill in my dorm" Mattheo suggests. "Yeah okay" I agree. We both go back to his dorm. I sit on his bed and pull my phone out of my pocket. He comes and sits next to me. I'm mindful he is watching over my shoulder so I don't message Ben back. But as I go to message some of my other friends, Ben messages me. His notification at the top of my screen that read 'when will I see you again'. "Who's Ben?" Mattheo asks. "Just one of my friends" I respond which isn't a complete lie. We are friends but we used to date. I turn off my phone and place it on the bed. I stand up and look at the book shelf. "I didn't know you read" I say surprised. "Yeah all the time" Mattheo laughs. "There's a lot you don't know about me" "Like what?" I say now sat next to him again. "In time you will know but not now." He says.
