Chapter 27

I was in the kitchen making pancakes for the boys and I while they where still asleep. I stacked the pancakes up onto a plate and placed it onto the table.

The boys came running into the room shoving each other to get through the door first. "Tom let me through" Mattheo shouts pushing Tom into the door frame. "No let me through" Tom shouts pushing away from the door frame whilst pushing Mattheo into the door frame. "Both of you stop" I laugh at how childish they both look. "There is enough for everyone" I continue still laughing.

Mattheo gestures for Tom to go through the door first. So Tom does exactly that but when He takes a step forward Mattheo trips him up making Tom fall to the floor. Mattheo laughs and walks over him sitting down at the table. "Not until you apologise to your brother" I laugh picking up the plate of pancakes so he can't reach them. "Sorry can't do princess" He says standing up and taking the plate from me before kissing my lips and sitting back down. Tom is now sat at the table opposite Mattheo.

"Orange juice?" I ask them both. "Yes please" They say at the same time making me laugh. "What are we doing today?" Mattheo asks as I sit down. "We could decorate the house, it is almost Christmas" I suggest. "We've never decorated for Christmas" Tom says looking down. "Well this year is different" I laugh making both boys smile. Once we had finished eating breakfast I got ready while the boys cleaned up.

I pulled a box out from underneath the boys stairs. It was full of old Christmas decorations that looked like they hadn't been used for a decade. I carry the box into the living room where the boys had finished putting up the tree. It was only a plastic tree because the boys didn't want to clean up the mess a real one would leave.

"Here" I say chucking the lights at Tom. "What am I supposed to do with these?" He questions. "Wrap them around the tree and plug them in" I laugh. "They probably don't work" Mattheo laughs as Tom finishes putting them around the tree and plugs them in. "They work!" Tom says excitedly. "Now what?" Mattheo laughs. "Now we decorate" I laugh chucking baubles at him. "Stop" He laughs trying to catch them all.

Once we had put all the baubles on the tree Tom put the star at the top. "It's hideous" Mattheo says. "Like you then" Tom laughs making me laugh as well. "Okay your both mean" Mattheo laughs.

After a little while Tom went out to meet Draco, so Mattheo and I decided to watch a film together. "Frozen!" I say excitedly. "Absolutely not" Mattheo laughs. "How about the polar express" He suggests. "Fine" I complain. "Frozen would be so much better though." I whisper under my breath. "What was that?" Mattheo asks smirking. "Oh nothing" I laugh. "Okay whatever you say but frozen is so bad" He laughs. "No its not!" I laugh. I lie down on Mattheo's lap while he is sat on the edge of the sofa. Mattheo switches back to Frozen and presses play on the film and about 30 minutes into the film I fall asleep.

"What's the point of watching Frozen if you are just going to fall asleep" He says changing the movie. "Oi change it back" I say looking up at him. "You were literally asleep!" He laughs. "Okay and we are watching frozen" I laugh. "Your so annoying." He laughs. "Love you too" I laugh.

The song 'let it go' comes on and I stand up and start singing it. "What are you doing?" Mattheo laughs. "Come on join me" I say still singing. "I don't know the words" He laughs. "Bullshit" I laugh dragging him off of the sofa. We both start dancing while singing the song. "What the hell is going on here" Draco says as him and Tom walk into the room. "Umm nothing" Mattheo says sitting back down. "Didn't look like nothing" Tom laughs.
