Time To Begin

Hello,Tour!

Today was the day it was all getting started. My favourite part of the job, yet, the most harrowing. I didn't mind though. I was used to it now, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

The past few days had been of relaxing and meeting up with people, along with award ceremonies and television appearances. It had made the days go by in a heartbeat,  and now, here we were, waiting in the living room for Shiki to come pick us up.

That reminds me, lotta new stuff between me and Shiki. She was no more the shy girl who used to talk to only me(I hope that's true). She was now Paul's secretary, in charge of a boy band. Well, not exactly in charge, but you know what I mean. She was handling all her work well, and Paul was quite happy with her. He had become relaxed, trusting her with more responsibilities each day, and the rest of the crew seemed to love her too.

And me? Well, I was happy with a new person to talk to. She somehow took out the time to check into me, and we spent hours texting each other. Mostly, it was us fighting over who was better, spiderman or superman. She won, almost all the time.

All of us were sat in the living room, discussing our lives in the following days. We were excited, and most importantly,  eager to meet all our wonderful fans again.

"When will she come?" Harry asked, checking his watch for what I was sure was the hundredth time.

"She should be here any moment. She said she'll be here at around 11, it's 10:30 already." I reasoned.

Harry nodded, and sighed. He sat there for a few seconds and got up, going up to the windows and pulling apart the curtain.

"Hey,  she's here!" Niall announced happily.

"Really?" I got up to look.

Shiki had come in a black car with Mark, in her usual ensemble of shirt and denim. She looked around, and then got out of the car, sprinting up up the door and opening it with her spare key.

"C'mon peeps!" She said, motioning us to come out. "Your luggage will go with John, just take your necessities.".

We picked up our 'necessities' and followed Shiki. There were no paps surprisingly, and I made a mental note to ask Shiki about it later.

We piled in the car, and waved to Shiki, who was staying back to see our luggage.

"Man, you're slow." Liam said, as we all waited for mark in the car.

"Why?" I asked.

In answer, Liam opened the door next to which I was sitting, and pushed me out.

"Hey!" I complained. "Let me in! Liam, what the hell?"

He rolled down the windows, and pointed behind my back.

"You've got one heck of a ride."

I looked in the direction Liam was pointing, and saw Shiki. Before I could reply, Mark got in the car, started it, and they drove off, Liam winking at me.

I shook my head at him, and turned back. As Shiki's eyes fell on me, she grew alarmed.

"Louis, why aren't you in the car?" She asked, walking up to me.

"Uh, I thought I should give ya company."

"What? " she looked behind me." And Mark drove off without you?"

"Yeah, I guess."  I scratched my neck,  feeling grossly awkward.

She looked at me. "We're almost done here."

"How are you going to fit all that in one van?"

"No, Louis, we'll load them up in a bigger car, half will go with us, all that can fit, and the rest in the other car."

"Too many cars."

I waited with Shiki as she oversaw our luggage getting loaded into the cars. When all was done, we hopped in one car, and John and others came in the other. Shiki started up the engine, and we were on our way, the other car following us closely.

"So, you excited?" Shiki enquired.

"Yeah, a lot! But I'm not too excited about the tour bus.."

She laughed.

Silence followed, but it wasn't awkward. It was almost comforting, the sense of being close and familiar engulfing me. I liked the feeling. Also, I didn't really know what to say next. This was new, isn't it? Me not knowing what to say?

The rest of the way, Shiki talked to me about her brother and his accident. She told me how she was worried, but at the end, all ended up being good, with her brother all healthy. I nodded all through the story, her voice relaxing me and easing the weird tension that's been around me for days. She controlled my emotions, in a way no one could.

That reminds me.

"Hey, Shiki? I've got an idea for a song.."
