Well, I guess it is kind of a no brainer, after what happened that day. Louis kissed me, and I finally came to terms with what I was feeling about him. I kind of liked him(a lot) and really cared about him. Not really sure if this is gonna work out, but right now, I am enjoying the moment and savouring what comes along with being in a relationship with the most spontaneous guy ever. Louis keeps surprising me with knick-knacks all through the day- when I was flustered over the faulty sound system, he handed me some chocolate. When I trudge back into my room, tired as s.hit, he offers me a head massage or a foot rub. So, yeah, I was dating Louis now. All in all, it was really fluffy and bloody wonderful.
The best thing about this, perhaps, is how we have still managed to preserve our friendship. Behind all the endearment and romance, so to speak, the essence of two friends fooling around in their free time still remained. Inside, we were both the same people who chased each other and knocked into things and were rude to each other, but we had that extra novelty, the icing on the delicious cake (happy birthday Niall), which was the fact that we were in a relationship.
Another fact : nobody knew we were together. Neither of us wanted to go through the phase of being told how they knew our friendship was 'something else' from the start-plain annoying. It was better to keep it under wraps, to meet each other when no one else was awake, and stay the night in the other's room and sneak back in at morning. I actually preferred it this way, having our own little world of foot rubs and cuddling and laughter nobody knew of.
That day, I was sitting with some other members of the security, going over the arrangements of the next concert, which was in five days. It was entirely on a bigger scale- bigger stadium, more people, more extravagant set up and even more pumped up performances. Special instructions on how everything should be perfect.
"Yeah, so, the gates will be opened at around.. 5, yeah?" I asked, glancing down at the bundle of papers in my lap.
"Yep, 5:15."
"Alright, so Mike and Olly at the front gates, Bug, you and your squad in the hallways and Be-" I was rudely cut off by my phone vibrating. I mumbled an, "Excuse me," and jogged over to the side, pressing a button to recieve the call. It was an unknown number.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hi," came a pleasantly familiar voice.
"Louis?" I took my phone away from my ears to double-check. "Why wasn't your number saved?" I muttered, more to myself.
"Uh, maybe..because the ambulance was stuck in traffic?" He suggested.
"You don't say. The ambulance service these days. So slow." I tusked, and moments later we broke into laughter.
"I wanted to show you something." I could almost hear him smiling, excited over the new mischief.
"Right now?" I turned around to where I was seated a few seconds ago. "I was in the middle of a discussion," There was no one seated around the table, the fluttering sheets being the only reminder of the meeting. "Apparently." I sighed.
"I asked them to leave you alone."
"You can't just do that, man!"
"Oh, I so can, you bloody woman. Meet me near the gates."
~~~
"Remember when you said that Andrew Garfield is, like, your favorite actor?"
"Oh, no. No no no no," I gasped. I think I was going into full body shock before I even knew what he actually was up to.
"Yeah. The Amazing Spiderman, 2," He held up to fingers right into my nose, "Action sequence, right next to our venue. I saw him yesterday, and it is all over the news. How come you don't know?"
"Um. No."
"Yep." Louis sighed beside me. "It is happening, love. Come on." He gripped my arm, and literally pulled me forward. Not inconsiderate. Necessary because I was rooted at the spot and unable to live.
I was gonna meet Andrew Garfield. What.
"Hey, Spidey!" Louis yelled at the majestically tall figure clad in a spiderman mask and waved at him.
"No no no no no" I mumbled into Louis' shoulder, "It's him it's him it's bloody him."
"Louis, hey!" The masked figure walked over, and shook his hand. "Oh, oops. Gimme a sec," He laughed, and pulled off his mask.
And there, we have it. The beautiful face of Andrew Russell Garfield, a.k.a my hero, revealed.
"This is my girlfriend. A huge fan of yours, thought I'd bring her to see you," Louis smiled at me. I didn't even register the word 'girlfriend', but in hindsight, my heart thunders.
Louis gave me a slight nudge, and I stumbled forward to meet my eyes with Andrew's brown ones.
"H...i," Yep, a long pause between the 'h' sound and the 'i'. My style.
"Whoa, hey! Nice to meet you." He laughed. Andrew laughed.
Oh, my god.
He stepped forward to engulf me into a hug and my life officially ended right there and then. No regrets, except the hi.
I don't really recall what happened next. I was in a daze, Too focused on Andy's face. We might have taken a picture and I may or may not have recieved a signed spiderman mask. And Louis probably exchanged numbers. No idea.
"Great meeting you. Love? Let's go?" Asked Louis. In reply I nodded furiously and sent an awkward smile towards Andrew, who waved.
I pulled Louis along the way, practically sprinting out the set, and jumped on him. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, gosh, thank you!" I yelled in his ear.
Louis laughed. "Don't thank me alone. It was just my idea, she was the one who set it up." He pointed at a person behind me.
"Shiki, meet Angie, my childhood friend, and Andy's girlfriend."
I turned around to set my eyes upon a girl with medium stature, brown eyes and hair, and a welcoming and cheery smile. She was extremely pretty. I smiled at her and wrapped my hands around her.
"Thank you so much for this. You are my new favourite person, after Niall." No kidding. I really love Niall.
Louis mumbled a disapproval and I shot a look at him. "No." I said. He shook his head and hugged Angie.
"No biggie. If Louis wants something from me, he gets it. I love you too much, Lou." She grinned.
"And yet, you didn't give me the wine I asked for." Louis complained. Angie laughed. "You'll be an alcoholic around 70, I predict. Well, great to see you, but, I gotta go. Louis, call me. We need to hang out. All four of us. "
And with that, Andrew's girlfriend walked away.
Louis turned to me and smiled. "Yay, you!" He chuckled. "But seriously, I come after Niall?"
I entertwined my arm in his. "Not even close."
