*Third Person's POV*
As the couple entered the Café, they were greeted by a very enthusiastic Jisoo and Chaeyoung. Much to Jennie's happiness, Jungkook and Taehyung were present there as well. She had also called her friends Jihyo, Yerin, Hyejin, and Soohee. And there were Lisa's co-workers and friends BamBam, Jimin, Nayeon, Seul-gi, and of course, Jung-hyun. Basically, the group was complete and the Café was their official hangout spot now. When Jennie said showing off, she meant it in all seriousness. She wanted them all to know that Lisa is hers as much as she would be Lisa's. They exchanged greetings before plopping themselves onto the seats. As Jennie was about to speak, the door to the Café opened revealing an unfamiliar face for Jennie and a few others -- a girl who was around the same age as them.
"Hyun-ah." Seul-gi got up and greeted the girl with a hug.
"Irene Unnie." Lisa squealed as she too approached the girl.
"Hey, Monkey," Irene said and ruffled Lisa's hair.
"Yah, Unnie!!" Lisa pouted and Jennie was even more curious about the girl. The others from the Café also greeted Irene as Lisa introduced her to others. "Jen, this is Irene Unnie. Seul-gi Unnie's friend." The remaining members of the group greeted her and Jihyo spoke.
"Lisa-yah, you don't have to introduce her alone to Jennie. We also didn't know her." She said playfully and Lisa could feel her cheeks burning.
"Jihyo, don't tease the girl." Soohee defended as they all once again settled down, with Lisa obviously next to Jennie.
They all talked for the next few minutes about various things and Jennie would occasionally wonder for a few seconds how they were all comfortable around each other and how her life has changed for the better from the past -- all because of the girl beside her. And now it was again Jennie's turn to speak.
"Guys, I actually want to tell you all something."
All of them had their eyes on Jennie except Lisa. She looked down, being the only person aware of what Jennie was about to say. Jennie knew that there were people around her who would support her no matter what, but now that her friend circle was big and closer than before, she wanted everyone with her.
She let out a sigh and spoke. "Well, the thing is- the thing is..." She took Lisa's hand in hers and intertwined their fingers, feeling her heart at peace. "...Lisa and I are dating."
The crowd's reaction was priceless. To say that they were speechless would be an understatement -- it wasn’t exactly the kind of reaction Jennie was expecting. Though Jisoo, Chaeyoung, and Taehyung knew about Jennie's crush, the news totally took them by surprise.
"Guys, will you say something?" Jennie spoke again to break the awkward silence. As if called back from a trance, the group started to shoot them with questions.
"Since when?"
"Who confessed first?"
"Did you guys have your first kiss?"
Overlapping questions surrounded the room as Jisoo spoke. "Guys, give it a break. Let them speak."
"Thank you, Unnie." Jennie said, taking a deep breath. "So to answer your questions. I have liked Lisa for a very long time. When I came to know that she too felt the same way, I asked her out. We became official before our exams, but Today was our first date as a couple." She finished, blushing furiously as the group burst into a unanimous 'Aww'.
"We are happy for you, Jennie." Jung-hyun said.
"You guys are all okay with us?" Lisa asked with a hint of nervousness in her voice.
