Maham wrapped her hair in a messy bun as she walked into the kitchen to prepare dinner when Aya called her. She picked it up.

"Maham! Oh my god. Raees called me and he said he wanted to see me," Aya exclaimed and Maham had to pull the phone slightly away from her ear.

"Why?" She asked, smiling.

"I don't know but I will know when I meet him tomorrow. I should go, right?" She asked.

"Raees is a nice guy. If you're worried about something happening, you shouldn't be. But if you are then you shouldn't go," Maham said as she walked out of the kitchen, walking upstairs. She checked Aydin who was asleep and then went to the balcony of her room.

Aya asked her what she should wear as Maham looked around the view. Maham responded when her eyes stopped at a silhouette and her eyes narrowed. Silhouettes weren't the problem. Maham had seen many silhouettes walking around the street when the night in London fell.

But this silhouette was staring at her. She could feel the eyes. He was wearing all-black clothes; a black hoodie, pants, leather jacket, and a cap. His hood was pulled over his head and his cap hid his eyes. But she knew he was watching.

Chills rose on her back and her eyes narrowed more, "This dude is staring at me." She told Aya. Silence.

"Who?" Aya asked, concerned.

"I don't know I can't see his face," Maham said and then the silhouette turned around, walking away but he stopped turning his face and looking up at her. Her blood ran cold.

"He is walking away," Maham said.

"Oh, thank God, I was about to send the police to your house, Maham," Aya said. "It's probably a drunk creep seeing a woman for the first time."

"Maybe," Maham whispered. She blinked, getting the nervousness out of her head, and walked inside the bedroom.

Maham put Aydin on the counter, they were both ready for school and she was preparing lunch while asking him to revise the test.

"Two plus two is.... four. Four plus four is eight," he said and continued to revise while she made breakfast.

"Wow, Aydie, you are so smart," she said after he finished and then showered him with kisses making him giggle.

"Now, you have to repeat the same thing on test, okay?" She asked and he nodded.

She fed him breakfast before having herself and then helped him wore his bag and then they left the house. She kept him in the carseat and buckled the belts.

When she closed the backseat door, she stopped. She looked around, feeling eyes on her. She saw nobody so she assumed she was being paranoid and sat in the driver's seat.

The rest of the day was spent with normalcy. Maham didn't get the same feeling as she did in the morning. She gave her classes, did her work made tests, and had dinner with Aya and Aydin in a restaurant.

Maham took Aydin out of the car and she unlocked the main door and Aydin ran inside. Maham walked back to the car to get out her stuff when she got that feeling again.

Feeling as if she was being watched. Feeling of being observed. Her face, her figure, and her house. She looked around and froze. The same man from the night before, who was staring at her.

She knew that the night before it wasn't just some drunk creep. It was someone from her past. Her breathing quickened, seeing him stand so far away yet so confidently.

As if nothing could scare him. As if nothing could make him hide. He took a step and she grabbed her bag, quickly lock the door and she ran inside, shutting and locking the door.

"Mama?" Aydin's confused voice broke through the tensed atmosphere.

"Go to your room, Aydin. Go and lock the door," she ordered him and just then someone pounded harshly on the door making her flinch and yelp.

Aydin listened to his mother and ran upstairs. She stood by the door, hearing the loud pounds and the ringing of bell.

"Open up,"

She gasped at the deep familiar voice. It sounded familiar but she could not catch on it. She kept quiet and kept herself pressed against the door, trembling.

After a while, everything stopped. An eerie silence spread through the atmosphere and after a while she relaxed and just then another bang on the door and she gasped, flinching.

And then it disappeared again. She stayed tensed and unmoving. She looked through the slim window beside the door and saw no one.

She sighed in relief, breathing heavily as she backed away from the door tears running down her face. She could make something out of what happened.

She knew her past was back to haunt her once again.
