{chapter 3}

Annie's POV

Once again it's another school day. Another day of boredom. And another day of being alone. Alone... the word wonders in my mind all the time. Why am I alone? Why do I not have any friends? I've been searching for those answers ever since I started school.

As usual i sit down at my desk placed at the back of the class. I take out a book and I start reading it.

Suddenly,my attention got drawn by the voice of a cheerful boy. I glance to the front corner of the class seeing a boy with blond hair talking to his two close friends, Mikasa and Eren.

Armin.. why is it always you who catches my attention? Why does my heart flatter every time I see you? Why... Why are you the one always by my side?

Armin's POV

As Mikasa and Eren went back to their seats, I noticed Annie staring at me.As I got up from my seat to go to her desk she continued to read her book.

"Hey Annie, What's up?"

She looked at me than back to her book "nothing much"

Usually people avoid Annie because of her cold attitude. But she's actually really nice when you get to know her better. I mean sure she can be really mean at times but it's not so bad.

"Well..I was thinking.. you wanna walk home together?"

When I looked back at her, all she did was just stare at me. There was a brief silence but then she finally spoke.

"Sure" I could've sworn I saw her blush a little and I think I did too. We just stared at each other.

For some reason, every time I look at Annie my heart starts to rise. I finally snapped out of it and went back to my desk. I think I heard Eren say "lovebirds"
