{chapter 7}

Annie's POV

The classroom was empty for recess had already started. Usually, I don't go for recess. Even if I go I'll be alone. And I hate being alone. Do I?

I sat at my desk drawing some doodles on my notebook. Suddenly, I hear Armin calling out my name. he was at the door of the classroom. he had a warm smile that always made me feel comfortable.

"Let's go"

I looked at him with curiosity slightly tilting my head. "to where?"

He came over to my desk and grabbed my hand dragging me out of the class.

"Recess, duh"

Recess? I don't get it. did he come all the way just to bring me for recess? He had a hard grip on me so I couldn't escape.

When we reached the cafeteria, he brought me to a table where mikasa and Eren were. Eren happily greeted me and mikasa offered me a seat next to her. I am surprised to see how Eren seems so cheerful compared to last weak. He didn't even come to school last week. he just stayed at home.

I hesitated to take a seat next to mikasa. Doesn't she dislike me? Am I her friend? . Before I could even walk away mikasa pulled my arm and made me sit down. Armin sat down next to Eren as he offered me some of his food. Actually, i don't think I even had a choice. As I rejected he got up from his seat. when he came back, he heals a tray with bread and soup with a cup of water. He placed it in front of me and told me to eat up. Why is he doing this? Does he care for me?

Recess was over and we proceeded to class. To be honest, I enjoyed recess today. It seemed fun. Before I went back to my seat, Armin requested to walk back home together again. I shook my head in agreement and smiled a bit. I saw him blush a bit. After a while of starring we went back to our seats.

I wonder.. if it's normal to feel this way. Can it be? Am I in love with... Armin?
