I am scared, don't you see? the world is so unfair to me for it has bound me in shackles and tore my heart into pieces.
I made a promise, how could I forget? on a golden dusk, with tears in my eyes like a true lover to be with you no matter what happens to me.
I am so naive, ain't that right? to not realise the consequences that such a promise could bring for which today I face the burn.
I cry in the middle of the night, don't you hear? streams of silver running down my cheeks painting the obsidian night in the shades of my pain of a promise I failed to keep.
I took a blade, didn't you know? slashed it upon my arms to and fro, crimson drops tainting the white basin like their hate embittered my weeping heart.
Darkness comes, soon we'll be one promises are sometimes fulfilled in such strange fashion atleast the night won't hear me crying again no longer would it receive my silver tears.
