Staring at the sea
I promised myself
Never to fear dying
That life's in death.
Staring at the sea
I learnt to love myself
Because life's limited
I might never get it again.
Staring at the sea
I knew this to be true
That if we are specks of dust in this universe
We ought to live with full gusto.
for if we have nothing to gain or to lose
we ought to embrace life and never let go.
