Chapter 1:Aiden the wanderer
A long time ago, there was a foolish knight. Born in a foolish world, carried his name as the foolish knight. But he was confident that one day when the world stops being foolish, he will lose the foolishness in his name. However, the world went upside down in the opposite of his prediction.
It was nighttime, and a man wearing a white robe laced with earth and soil walked on the empty streets of a town. It's strange that everyone stayed in the buildings. The moon was full and the night was chilly, so the man decided to enter a bar to get some refreshments. He pushed the main door of the bar and the rowdiness of the bar could be felt.
However, they all went silent when the man made his presence from the main entrance. The man walked towards the only empty seat on the counter and pointed at a certain liquor on the shelves. The bar owner was confused and slightly trembling from fear. Everyone in the bar has their hands on their weapon, ready to jump at him the second he makes a move. The footsteps of someone could be heard approaching the man in a steady manner.
"You're on my seat sir" he was patted by someone on his left shoulder, the man heard him and looked to his left.
The man assessed his situation and decided to choose a peaceful solution. "I see, would I make it right by buying you a drink?"
"HA! now we're talking," He snapped his fingers and the person next to him got off his seat so that he could sit next to the man.
"The name's Spencer, Marks Spencer" he introduced himself to the man as he offered up his hand for a handshake.
The man had a pause and decided to shake on it. "The name's Aiden."
"Aiden, that's a good name. Mind you tell me how you got yourself here?" Spencer asked
Aiden was served with his drink of choice by the bartender, he took a sip and answered. "I'm here to search for something."
Spencer became curious and tried to probe him more "Do you mean...something physical or more spiritual?""Yes." Aiden replied.
Spencer laughed from this exchange and he decided to get straight into business. "So tell me, why is a follower of the Moon Goddess doing here?"
The tense atmosphere of the bar increased another notch after Spencer asked his question.
Aiden placed down his drink and responded "Why would you assume that I am a follower of the Goddess of the Moon?" he looked at Spencer
Spencer was served with a glass of bourbon and he downed the glass immediately after. "Okay, correct me if I'm wrong. So, some guy walked under the moonlight with some flimsy robe and managed to not get frozen by the curse of the Moon Goddess, and when we shook hands earlier, I couldn't feel the blessing of the Sun God on you."
Aiden seemed intrigued and he picked up his cup to take another sip. "Go on."
Spencer laughed again and slapped his thigh with his arm. "HAHAHA, I'm sorry, maybe it's the alcohol making me running my mouth, but you don't know where exactly you are, don't ya?"
Aiden rests his head on his elbow. "Not a clue."
Spencer and everyone in the bar started laughing after hearing that.
"Oh brother, you're now in the territory of the Sun God!!!!" Spencer declared loudly and the entire bar started chanting the Sun God after him.
Spencer took out a gun and placed it in front of Aiden "Finish your drink and swallow it afterwards, we will take care of your remains as humanely as possible."
