Chapter 10: Seeing is Believing.
The island was split apart and everyone was free falling in the sky.
"WHAT NOW?" Aiden yelled at Ame due to the turbulent wind deafening their voices.
Ame turned Aiden around and the sight of the woman in black entered into his view. "STALL HER!"
Aiden started controlling the chunks of earth and debris to slow her down. Without manipulating the speed of her descent, she evaded all the chunks of earth that were aimed to delay her.
She was traveling so fast that the stress caused tunnel vision and her only focus was the shadow casted by Aiden.
She materialized her scythe and slashed horizontally at him. But before the blade touched him, she was crushed by 2 pieces of rock from her sides. Gura binded her legs with a rope made out of water and Ame landed on top of her in the air.
Ame clung herself onto the woman by wrapping her legs around her torso to have a conversation.
"You're not gonna like this." Ame placed her thumb onto her forehead and poured some information into her, just like what she did to Aiden.
She stopped struggling and asked Ame, "Who are you people?"
Ame changed her position into grabbing the woman's waist with her head pointed towards the ground. "ARE YOU READY FOR A GROUND POUND?"
"WHAT?" The woman dressed in black was confused.
Ame instructed "WE'LL LAND FIRST, THE BOTH OF YOU CAN JUST TAKE YOUR TIME"
She then accelerated time and crashed into the earth in an instant.

Aiden and Gura landed safely by using a chunk of earth as footing. It slowed them down and then levitated them slowly until they reached the ground. They saw a giant crater with a hole in the middle next to where both Ame and the woman were standing.
"AME!" Gura shouted from a distance, excited to see her in one piece.
The both of them looked towards Aiden's direction and Gura jumped onto Ame, embracing her happily. The woman in the black dress focused on Aiden instead, gazing into his eyes.
She dashed towards him attempting to sever his head. However, Aiden simply moved his finger to point up to the sky. She stopped and saw all the shadows moving on the ground, it was all the debris of the island floating on top of them.
Aiden scowled. "I will bury you next to my corpse if I were to die".
"I would like to see you try!" the women didn't back off from his provocation.
"The both of you! Stand back!" Ame yelled and started walking towards them with Gura.
The woman tucked away her scythe and stepped back from Aiden. Seeing this, he landed the debris away from them.
"I'm sure you two had a wonderful time knowing each other already so lets shorten the introduction." Ame sarcastically spoke. "Aiden, this is Calliope Mori and Calli, this is Aiden."
Ame slapped Calli's back to make her stumble forward and she then grabbed both of their arms for a handshake.
"Now that you're both acquainted we can move to the next target shall we?" Ame moved along the pacing and got straight to business.
Gura looked at Calli with admiration. "Booba..."
"Where are we heading this time?" Aiden asked casually.
"To the South Pole!" Ame excitedly yelled.
Aiden opened up a tunnel into the ground and just when everyone stepped into it Calli remained outside of the tunnel.
"What's wrong Calli?" Gura asked her.
"I won't get in there." she declared.
Aiden quirked an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"
"I don't trust you." She answered.
"Maybe we should go on our separate ways then and we can me-" Amelia slammed her hand over Aiden's mouth before he could finish..
"Or maybe we can all travel on land." The blonde pseudo-god said.
Aiden forcefully pried off her hand "Are you crazy? Do you know it takes 6 full months to get there?"
Ame answered, "She needs to travel with us. Besides, your small, badly circulated tunnel gets my white shirt dirty."
Aiden looked at Calli and then remembered how she tripped in total darkness. He realized something odd and agreed to Ame's demands.
"I understand, we shall go on foot." They walked out of his tunnel and he closed it afterwards.
Calli looks surprised and she thanked Aiden timidly."T-Thanks..."
Aiden pretended he didn't hear her and simply changed the topic. "First we need to know who's territory we're in."
"The impact we made earlier should've attracted people to come investigate it." Ame chimed in.
"If they arrive later, we will act as followers of the moon goddess. If they arrive during the day we act like followers of the sun god."
Both Calli and Gura nodded.
