It seems the battle for the Williams F1 seat is coming to an end and it seems that my presumption was correct. Williams are most definitely going to sign Logan Sargeant for his first season in Formula 1.
All the signs have been pointing in his direction for quite some time and this might just be the final bullet in Alicia Hugo's Formula 1 career.
Hugo is going to miss out on a further two practices sessions at the final two races of the season. Could this perhaps be her punishment for being late to debrief and celebrating with her friend, George Russell, after his victory last week in Brazil?
Williams have finally come to realize that Hugo was not worth the time and development they put into her career, it has been very clear she is not a team player and is more controversial in comparison to other drivers.
Maybe having a woman on the grid hadn't been such a good decision after all.

HATE WAS A POWERFUL FOUR LETTERED WORD. We throw it around a lot but the real question is: do we ever truly mean it?
Alicia thought she hated a lot of people. (Will Buxton was definitely on that list) Alicia thought a lot of people had wronged her. But, when she sat down and really thought about it.
She didn't hate anyone. She held grudges, petty, little grudges against people who weren't deserving of them.
Alicia Hugo thought she hated Carlos Sainz, she felt as though he had wronged her more than anyone ever had. She thought that he had terribly wounded her, when in reality, she let the sport they both loved get in the way.
They lost years of friendship just because of one singular crash. (That was definitely still Carlos' fault by the way) and whilst in the heat of the moment she had been stung by Carlos' actions and the words he had later said, was it really worth throwing away the one friendship that had provided you more happiness than anything else?
Alicia Hugo was so sure she hated Carlos Sainz.
Perhaps, we all make a lapse of judgement, sometimes.
