(S2) Chapter 10: Battle of Kuoh Part 2

Third Person POV

Issei was panicking.

How could he not at a time like this? His mother could be in danger if he doesn't stop Kokabiel from doing whatever his plan is. Sure, there's also the fact that all of Kuoh can be in danger, plus the fact that this event could start another War between the Three Factions.

However, none of that matters to Issei. All he cares about is his mother's survival, to keep her safe and sound...he needed to pluck some wings from a black pigeon.

Currently, Issei was with both Rias, Sona and their Peerages just standing outside of Kuoh Academy as Sona along with her peerage formed a magic circle around the entire academy, covering it in a barrier.

Sona: "We've covered the entire school with a protective barrier, if nothing drastic happens then it should keep anything from within from getting damaged"

Rias: "Thank you, Sona, this means so much"

Sona: "Remember that this will only work if the conditions remain the same"

Rias nodded her head as both she and Sona gazed toward Issei who had mixed emotions right now, he was both passed and very worried about what was happening right now. Passed because Kokabiel was gonna tear up his hometown just to get a fight, but the brown-haired boy was more worried about his mother.

He can't let anything happen to her.

He had to keep her safe.

He needed to keep her out of harm's way.

He needed to keep Kokabiel distracted.

Issei has already lost so much, he lost his heart when Yuuma, or whatever her name was broke his heart during their "date", he lost both his best friends and was unable to do anything for them...

He can't lose his mother, he won't lose her.

Suddenly, Sona's Queen Tsubaki appeared from a magic circle.

Sona: "Tsubaki, you arrived on time"

Issei looked over.

Issei: "How's Irina?"

Tsubaki: "Her condition isn't life-threatening, she just needs some rest"

Issei let out a sigh of relief.

Issei: "Oh, thank Goodness...Thank you, Tsubaki"

Tsubaki nodded as she went and assisted Sona and the rest of the Peerage.

Sona: "Rias, it's not too late to contact your brother"

Rias merely smiled at Sona.

Rias: "You know what I don't see? You contacting your big sister"

Sona: "With good reason too, Sirzechs love you and you know he would want to assist us. There's no doubt that he would come here if you call him, so call him"

Akeno: "There's no reason to do that"

Everyone looked to see Akeno walking up.

Akeno: "I've already contacted him"

Rias: "How could you do that without asking me first!?"

Akeno: "Look, Rias. I understand you don't want your brother unless we absolutely must. But our enemy is a leader class Fallen Angel, he's not someone you can take on your own. I think this counts as a must"

Rias fell silent as she thought about it, she then sighed in defeat.

Rias: "Fine"

Akeno: "I thank you for your consideration, Sirzechs is on his way. His forces should arrive here in about an hour"
