Third Person POV

Yamato: "Hey, Yoruichi."

Yoruichi: "Yes, Yamato?"

Yamato, who was lying on the bed, glanced over at Yoruichi, who was sitting in Issei's chair with her arms crossed and her feet on the desk.

Yamato: "Should we meet up with Issei in the underworld?"

Yoruichi let out a small sigh to herself; she had a feeling that Yamato would ask such a question at some point. Issei had departed for the underworld with Gremory and her Peerage a solid half hour ago, meaning they should either be at or have passed the Sitri Domain by now.

He did ask if they wished to come along, but Yoruichi refused and said that she would stay behind and keep an eye on the house while Issei enjoyed his fun in the underworld. Yamato stayed as well, though the daughter of Thor could now guess why she did: to convince her to actually go to the party.

She didn't want to go, not because she didn't like the underworld; it was actually a pretty quiet place down there, and that is especially noted when it came to their forests and mountains.

However, that wasn't the reason why she didn't wish to go with him; part of her actually wanted to, but there were a few reasons why she chose not to.

Firstly, neither she nor Yamato had revealed themselves to Rias and her Peerage; so the moment that they did, it would cause the crimson-haired devil girl to ask Issei what his affiliation with them both was. Now, Yoruichi does not by any means hate the Gremory; they were very nice among the Devil population and do treat their members as part of their family.

She just knows that Rias won't like that there are two mature women who have been sleeping in the same room as Issei and have bigger... chests than she does.

Secondly, from what Issei was told by Azazel, there was going to be a party of some sort in the underworld, and tons of people have been invited. Yoruichi gets the feeling that among those invited guests will be her so-called "Father," and she really doesn't want to see him again for another thousand years.

He may have walked away last time, but that was only because she stood up to him. She was only trying to keep Issei safe; he may have faced Sun Wukong, but he isn't the type to actively kill a person, while her quote-on-quote "Father," on the other hand, would do so without hesitation.

Last and certainly not least, if Yoruichi did go to the party, then there was most likely going to be some young and arrogant devil from a noble house who was going to try to hit on her. The son of the Phenex household was a prime example of what she was talking about, yet there is a chance for a even younger and more arrogant one appearing there.

Though this hasn't happened to her before, Yoruichi knows that she hasn't been to a lot of parties in the past. If she recalls correctly, the only one she has attended was the God party that occurred a while back, and that didn't turn out so well.

Either way, Yoruichi honestly didn't want to go down and attend the party in the underworld; even though Issei was the one who invited her to come along...

Yamato: "Yoruichi..."

Silence.

Yamato: "Yoruichi."

Silence.

Yamato: "Yoruichi!"

Silence again.

Yamato: "Oh, for the love of... YORUICHI!!!"

Yoruichi perked up.

Yoruichi: "Huh?!"

She looked at Yamato.
