Third Person POV
Sona: "Woah"
Issei who had just finished singing looked over at Sona who was staring at him with an expression of shock and awe.
Could you really blame her? She knew that Issei was many things in the past, someone who would not waste a second and peep at girls, someone who hated getting into fights because he would always lose, and someone who was alright about lying.
However, she never expected that he was capable of singing and so well at that. Maybe the brown-haired boy had a hidden talent for singing, everyone nowadays seems to be really good at something that they never tried before.
Issei: "So, did I do well?"
Sona: "Issei...you were...."
Issei scratched the back of his head.
Issei: "Was I that bad?"
The black-haired devil girl quickly shook her head.
Sona: "No, you were absolutely amazing! I didn't sure you were capable of singing"
Hearing this caused Issei to let out a small chuckle as he scratched his cheek, it wasn't anything special. His other was ten if not hundreds of times better than him when it came to signing, she did have to sing him loads of lullabies when he was a young lad.
Issei: "It's nothing that special"
Sona: "Nothing that special!"
Sona stood up and grabbed Issei's shirt, she then started to shake him repeatedly which caused the brown-haired boy to start getting sick.
Sona: "How can you sing so perfectly! It took me weeks to months before I was good at it!"
Issei: "S-sona! calm down!"
Sona: "No! Not until you tell me!"
Issei: "I-I learned from my mom!"
After saying that, Sona finally stopped shaking Issei and let him go. It was about time too because the brown-haired boy felt really dizzy and almost felt like he was gonna throw up right on the spot, but he managed to hold it all down.
He made a note to himself to never let something like that happen again, it was already bad enough that his mother slapped the ever-loving shit out of him when he got home from the hospital.
Sona: "So you learned how to sing from your mom"
Issei: "Y-yeah, please never do that again. I felt like I was gonna throw up"
Sona soon realized what she did and began apologizing to the brown-haired boy, Issei isn't angry with Sona but he is still a little bit dizzy.
Issei: "I-it's fine, Sona. But to answer your question, I technically learned how to sing because my Mom sang to me when I was just a little boy"
Sona: "Ah, I see"
Issei soon placed the Microphone down on the table, since he was done singing he had no reason to be holding the device.
Issei: "So, are you gonna sing?"
Sona blushed slightly.
Sona: "I'm not sure you wanna hear me sing"
The brown-haired boy simply waved her off and smiled at the devil girl.
Issei: "come on, I am sure you will do fine"
Sona: "I-I'm not sure...I never sang in front of anyone"
Issei placed a hand on the black-haired girl's shoulder, making her look up and see his soft smile. Seeing that smile reminded Sona of her father and how he would always tell her that there is nothing to be afraid of, and that fear is something that weighs a person down.
