Six weeks later.

Things were going well for Toni and Moose, they were spending most of their free time together and the brunette had practically cut ties with the others. It wasn't something that she wanted at first, but it made it much easier to avoid a certain redhead and that was something she was desperate to do.

Obviously she still spent time with Sweet Pea, Fangs and Jughead who begged her to hang out with the others which she always refused. Thankfully as the weeks passed the questions about the fight between herself and Cheryl dwindled.

It wasn't long before the brunette heard that Reggie and Cheryl had unsurprisingly reconciled. The boys forbade Reggie from hanging out with them, but it didn't make a difference to the serpent she still didn't want any involvement.

However Fangs birthday was tonight and he was holding a party at the Whyte Wyrm where both Toni and Moose were invited. It wasn't just any birthday either, it was his eighteenth and she had to be there so she had no choice but to accept.

Toni knew that Serpent parties could get pretty wild and as much as she  tried to convince Moose it wasn't a place for him he disagreed. He wanted to be a part of her world.

Which was sweet, right?

Toni arrived early to help her friends set up, she just wore her usual attire; jeans, a white T-shirt with her sleeves rolled and of course her serpent jacket.

Some of the older serpents had expressed their concerns of the teenagers mixing with the kids from school, but FP was fine with it as long as the northsiders behaved themselves when on the southside.

There was a spare room in the bar where the teenagers set up for Fangs party. He wanted it to be more intimate, with only his friends attending without being under the watchful eyes of the elder serpents.

When Toni realised that he was probably only going to invite his friends and not most of the southside she panicked. Was she going to be stuck in a room full of people she'd been trying to avoid?

She didn't have much of a choice but to grin and bare it though and Cheryl definitely wouldn't be there. Reggie would never allow it, right?

Wrong.

Once the party started people began showing up, thankfully Moose was one of the first meaning Toni could spend most of her time with him and not with her old friends. A few serpents her age turned up pretty early, she'd spoken to them before however she wasn't overly friendly with them so she just gave them a nod of acknowledgment.

It was when the northside teenagers showed up Toni felt out of place.

Should she greet them or..?

No, she hadn't spoken to them for weeks, why would she speak to them now?

'You all right baby?' Moose asked wrapping his arm around her middle.

'I'm fine. I just want to get this night over with'.

Toni had managed to avoid everyone for the most part at school. She'd find her place in class quickly and leave before anyone had the chance to talk to her, but this was going to be more difficult.
