Thirty Five

I'm updating this on my 15 minute break so if there's any mistakes I'll apologise now.

Thanks for all of the comments, I do love that you're guessing what you thinks gonna happen though. This one's just a filler chapter really, but I may upload the next one on my dinner break depending on if I can be arsed to quickly edit it.

The next morning Toni woke up confused as to where she was until she remembered she was back in Riverdale. She pushed her dream about a certain redhead away as she stretched out her aching body. Fangs was kind enough to let her stay on his couch for the night in the apartment he shared with his roommate Kevin who obviously didn't know Toni knew about their relationship since they stayed in separate bedrooms last night.

Her plan for the morning was to go to the trailer have a clean up after buying some new bedsheets before Sweet Peas bachelor party later on. She had no doubt she'd be the only female there but she didn't mind, it was less drama in her opinion. Her mind wondered to Veronica and if she were having her bachelorette party tonight too. She pushed her thoughts away before she got lost in them like she always did. She had too much to do.

Fangs helped her get everything polished and vacuumed leaving her to tidy through her old bedroom and her nana's room that she didn't completely finish sorting through before she left. It took a few hours until they were done but it was worth it now the trailer looked and smelled better.

'How long you here for T?' Fangs asked as he dropped on the couch.

'Just until Sunday I think,' Toni said sitting down beside him. 'Gotta work'.

'Yeah, so... are you seeing anyone right now?'

'Nah'. Toni shook her head as she looked at her friend who raised an eyebrow, 'I mean I've had a few dates here and there, but nothing serious'.

Fangs nodded his head, 'and you're happy?'

'I'm happy enough'.

'Why didn't you come back? You said you were going to be gone for two weeks. It's been years'.

'Too much happened Fangs-'

'Have you reached out to Ch-'

'If you're going to say Cheryl the answers no and I really don't want to get into that topic Fangs. It's in the past'.

'You still into her?'

'Fangs it's been years'.

'And?'

'And I'm not'.

'What about Moose?'

'Is he still living in Riverdale?'

'Yep and he's single or at least I think he is'.

'I'm not going there, like I said I'm here for the weekend'.

Toni didn't expect any less than the Whyte Wyrm for Sweet Peas bachelor party. Nerves still radiated through her body though. How would her old gang react to her abandoning them without a word? Would she even be welcome anymore?

There was only one way to find out.

She walked through the doors to the bar with her head held high or as high as she could keep it. If she got thrown out she'd take it on the chin and just head back to the trailer. Her serpent jacket still fitted perfectly as well which was lucky since it was the first time she wore it in a long time.
