Hey everyone!

Sorry for the late update, I've been on nights so I've had a nap and then we've spent the rest of our day carving pumpkins and baking with our nephews.

Thank you for all the comments, I love them!

I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Happy reading!

Nat xx

After a fun afternoon with her friends at the mall they decided to call it a day and head home. The brunette enjoyed her time bowling with the boys and even treated herself to a brand new pair of jeans. A pair she'd wanted for a while but put off buying because they were out of her price range. Toni waved goodbye to her fellow serpents after they offered to walk her to her bike, an offer she refused. There was still plenty of daytime left and the brunette planned on going to the grocery store on her way home before spending the rest of her day at her trailer.

As Toni walked towards her scrambler she felt her blood run cold. The car parked next to it was non-other than Cheryl Blossoms. Even though the roof was up the serpent would recognize it anywhere. She gritted her teeth and pushed herself forward, there was no way she was going to be intimidated by whatever the redhead was doing. Completely ignoring the girl in the car next to her Toni pulled her keys from her pocket and climbed onto her motorcycle.

The window of Cheryl's car rolled down next to her before she heard the redheads voice, 'I think we need to talk'.

'We have nothing to talk about,' Toni said not turning to look at the girl pulled beside her.

'Fair enough, I suppose my father will have the sheriff at your trailer before nightfall then'.

'Darlin' I don't know what you're talking about'.

'Suit yourself. Can't say I didn't try,' Cheryl said putting on her sunglasses. 'Nice knowing you Topaz'.

The redhead started her engine and against her better judgement Toni climbed off her bike with a huff and into the other girls car, she would deny any accusation that was thrown at her but it wouldn't hurt to try and find out what Cheryl knows. That ways she could see what she was dealing with.

Once Toni shut the car door Cheryl pulled away without speaking, she wasn't stupid, if anyone saw her with a southside serpent in her car she'd be in trouble. Especially if it got back to her parents.

Neither of them spoke for the whole of the drive to a road just off the lonely highway. Toni wouldn't say a word, she didn't want to add fuel to the fire and the silence wasn't as awkward as it should have been even without the radio playing. When the coast seemed clear Cheryl parked her car on the side of the road, somewhere she was sure they wouldn't be seen before turning to face the serpent.

'Why was you in my house?'

'Don't know what you're talkin' about,' Toni said looking straight ahead.

'At first I thought maybe you were there to see Jason,' Cheryl said and Toni cringed but kept her mouth shut. 'But this morning when my father awakened I realized you were there because you robbed us. Daddy didn't call the police and I assume there is a reason for that. So Toni, what did you take?'

'I'm sure if your father thought he'd been robbed he would call the police, maybe you were seeing things'.

'My father isn't a good man. I'm not as naive as people think, I know he's involved in bad things. You took something he couldn't report, if your honest with me it will be easier for us both. I won't have to keep digging for information and for that I will keep what I saw a secret. This time'.
