Soooo since a few of you asked I'll upload another chapter of my story. Thank you for the comments on the last one, my stories wouldn't be mine if I didn't add drama every now and again lol.

Anyway I hope you like or at least enjoy this one.

Happy reading!

Five years later.

Toni was settled down in a small town just outside of New York, she commuted to work on her motorcycle everyday and her life was relatively simple. After leaving Riverdale she went off tracks for a while before managing to sort her life out for the most part. Working in a strip club was frowned upon, but she didn't care. She just danced on a stage and did the odd lap dance. Nothing too revealing or at least so she thought.

She did still miss home though, that was one of the downfalls to her now life. She missed her hometown, her friends and even though she hated it she missed Cheryl. They weren't even together for a fraction of her life, yet she'd missed her from the moment she left. There was a few times she wanted to reach out but the humiliation of the letter the redhead sent her always came back to haunt her so she never did. It took her around two years to even reach out to her friends by letter, they never wrote back because she didn't tell them her address simply because she knew what they'd do if she did.

She looked down at the letter she was writing before she was distracted by her thoughts. She hoped her friends were happy to receive them. She hoped they weren't angry at her for leaving them and she hoped they were healthy and happy and settled into their adult lives. Shaking herself out of her thoughts again she looked down to read the letter she planned on sending this afternoon.

Dear Jughead,
I hope all is well with you and everyone else. I've just been thinking about the past and wanted to let you know I was thinking about you. I was thinking about you all.
I hope you can forgive me for moving away, after I lost my nana things just seemed to take a turn for the worst and I needed to get away. Although I never thought I'd be away for this long.
I am happy though, for the most part. I'm settled into an apartment and have a job that pays the bills.
I know you can't answer my letters since I haven't let you know my address, but on the back of this letter I've written my home phone number. Reach out if you'd like.
Toni.

The brunette quickly scribbled her phone number in the back of the paper shoving it in a envelope before she could change her mind. She may come to regret it but she just wanted to know what her old friends were up to although she wasn't sure she'd even hear anything back.

Two weeks later.

Toni was sat on her couch watching a movie she wasn't really paying too much attention to when the phone rang. She looked over her shoulder at the landline shaking lightly as it rang. She wasn't expecting a phone call but she assumed it was her boss Jimmy wanting her to work tonight so she pushed herself up to answer the phone.

'Hello,' she said as her eyes moved back to the television set.

'Toni?' The voice said on the other end. 'It's Jughead. I just got your letter'.

For the first time in her life the brunette found talking to the boy, well man now, awkward.

'Jughead it's good to hear from you. How are you?'

'I'm doing good. Better now for talking to you. How have you been?'

'Good. I've been good,' Toni said nodding even though Jughead couldn't see her.

'Look I've got someone here who wants to speak to you'.

Toni held her breath as she listened to the rustling on the other side of the phone. There was no way it would be the redhead right? Surely she'd moved on with her life now probably married to Reggie with kids and everything else she wanted.
