Twenty Five

As much as Cheryl and Toni wanted to spend time together over the week they didn't manage to. They had a couple of meet ups with their friends after school, but due to cheerleading practices and boyfriends they hadn't had any time alone together since Monday.

So when Friday came Toni really hoped she could have a little time with the redhead over the weekend. The school day was done, but Toni promised Moose she'd be there for his game and she did want to.

And not only because she knew Cheryl would be there.

She did like Moose, she wasn't pretending that she wanted to be with him. She did. For the most part.

But she wanted Cheryl too and as much as she didn't want to admit it to herself she wanted her more.

More than she'd ever wanted anyone in her life.

She felt guilty though, was every lingering touch and kiss from the boy she felt bad for Cheryl, but she also felt bad for Moose.

And as much as she tried to ignore it she knew someone was going to get hurt.

But spending time with Cheryl was worth the risk.

So she pushed the negative thoughts away.

As the game began Moose gave his girl a little wave which the brunette reciprocated. Her friends yelling and cheering around her made her smile because for once she felt like a normal teenager.

Although the serpents cheering on the bulldogs was something none of them believed would ever happen.

Toni's eyes kept drifting towards the redhead as she cheered on the boys. The way she moved had the brunette in a trance.

'You good T?' Fangs asked.

'Oh'. She blushed while she quickly cleared her throat, 'yeah. I'm um, I'm good'.

Fangs looked at her and then the unknowing cheerleader, 'cool'.

Toni made sure to keep her attention on the game after that. Every time her eye's threatened to wander she fixed them back on Moose.

The Bulldogs won the game by a mile, leaving the whole school on a high for the weekend. Everyone in their group made their way down to the field to congratulate their friends on their win.

As always they waited on the sideline with the cheerleaders for the boys to make their way over.

'You look great,' Toni whispered when she was next to the redhead. 'Your routine was amazing'.

Cheryl blushed slightly, 'thank you'.

The cheers of their classmates caught their attention and Toni was lifted into the air by Moose before she even knew what was happening.

He placed a long kiss on her lips after he put her feet back on the ground, 'the boys and I are going to celebrate at Chucks tonight. What do you say?'

Toni cleared her throat glancing at the redhead before she looked back at Moose, 'you want me to go to a party at Chuck Clayton's? With a bunch of north siders that can't stand me?'
