It's been a couple weeks since I told Donna about my liking Hyde. She hasn't told anyone yet and I'm glad. We were in the circle, Kelso had just informed us that he slept with Laurie, and Jackie has no idea about it.

"Ewe man." Eric and I said at the same time. "I cannot wait to see this blow up in your face man." Hyde said. "Yeah, you're not smart enough to juggle two women at once, Kelso." I told him.

It was just Myself, Eric, Kelso, Hyde, Donna, and Fez. "Janie." Fez said. "Yeah?" I asked. "There's some rumors about you floating around." He said. I shrugged. "So." I wouldn't remember anyway man, we were all high.

After our circle everyone went home. Tomorrow was Monday. After dinner I went to sleep and woke up, getting ready for school. We got into the Vista Cruiser and went to get everyone else.

When we entered school, eyes went to me and I didn't know why. "She's the one who did it with Casey Kelso." I heard someone snicker. "I heard she did two guys at once." "Supposedly, she's into older guys." Whispered another.

"What whore." One said. "Slut."

None of this was true, I was in fact still a virgin and I never did anything with Casey. " All the guys were gone except for Hyde. When we reached my locker, I stood there and stared at it. Written in red marker in all caps was SPLIFF SLUT

"What the actual hell." Hyde said turning to all the people  that were just now talking about me. "Who the hell did this to Janie's locker?!" He asked. They all ran like fire ants except for a junior. "Casey told me to." He told us.

Hyde then punched him and told him to get it off my locker. I didn't cry, but Jesus Christ did I want to. "Thanks Steven." I said. He nodded and let me put my stuff in his locker.

The whole day was people talking nonstop about me. I wanted to die. After school I waited for all of them by the Vista Cruiser when none other than Casey came up to me. "Go away and leave me the hell alone." I said to him.

He wouldn't leave. "Not until we finish what I started in the car the other night, okay?" He said. "I said no!" I said. All he did was call me a whore and a slut and that nobody loves me and nobody ever would.

I already knew that, but hearing it from him made it real. I felt tears start forming around my eyes. And I fanned my face to make them go away, they wouldn't. "Hey Little Forman." Hyde said.

Thank god I was facing the car. "H-hey Hyde." I said. "Are you okay?" He asked. I turned around and he stared at me. "Don't say anything because I honestly don't want to talk about it." I said as the school door opened and everyone else walked out.

"Whoa, are you okay?" They all asked. I nodded.

They all got into the Vista Cruiser. "You coming Janie?" Eric asked. I shook my head. "I-I'll walk, I wanna be alone right now." They left me alone and I walked home.

I walked to the water tower and climbed it. I lit a cigarette and thought. Hyde's never gunna like me back, Kelso is gunna screw something up with Jackie, and Donna and Eric may not even happen.

But me? I've been alone all along. Never laid, never loved, never cared for. I stubbed out my cigarette and climbed down. It was dark when I got home. I didn't care. "Where the hell have you been?" Red asked me.

I looked at him. "I had a really crappy day, okay, I went on a walk, I'm alive, I'm not high, so be happy I even came home at all!" I yelled at him as I walked downstairs to the basement.

"Finally, where'd you go?" Eric asked. "The water tower." I said. "Yeah Hyde told us what happened." Donna said. I rolled my eyes. "I can't with this right now, I'm going to bed." I said.

"It's 6:00." Eric said. "I freaking know that Eric!" I said as I walked up the stairs to the kitchen. Mom and Dad were in the living room now. Kelso and Laurie were going at it in the kitchen. And Jackie saw them.

"Michael, what the hell!" She said. "J-Jackie it's not what it looks like!" He defended. "Sorry Jackie, but  Kelso's mine, so go cry!" Laurie said. "Michael, we're done!" She said as she ran to the basement crying.

"Way to go dumbasses." I said as I followed her. When I reached the basement, Eric and Donna weren't there. They must have went to her house. But what I saw next made me want to cry, claw my eyes out, shoot myself, the whole nine yards.

Jackie and Hyde were kissing. Without a sound I walked up the stairs and booked it to my room when I reached the kitchen. What the hell is wrong with me! I cried for a long ass time.

At one something, I decided to leave. I couldn't stay in Point Place anymore. It was draining. I changed my clothes and grabbed a bag and some money. I walked down the stairs and to the basement.

Thank god no one was there. I took a look around the basement and decided to take a little reefer before I went, so I had it with me wherever I ended up. As I went to open the basement door, I heard someone call out my name.

I turned around to Eric. "What are you doing." He asked. "I'm leaving and I honestly don't know if I'll be back." I said. "What why?" He asked. "I can't stay in Point Place anymore, Eric! Everyone knows what everyone else is doing, and I'm tried of it, the rumors, the boringness, the nosy people. Point Place isn't exactly paradise for the burnouts or the weirdos. I'm leaving and that's it. I'm running away." I told him.

"Well, are you sure?" He asked. I nodded. "Be safe little sister, and call me as soon as you get somewhere." He said I nodded. "Tell the guys, try and keep mom and dad at arm's length and if they happen to find out, I'll deal with it." I told him he nodded.

"Good luck Janie." He said. "Thanks. Bye Eric." He said goodbye and I walked out of the basement into the cool night air. I saw Donna sitting outside. "Hey Janie." She said.

"Hey Donna." I said. "Where are you going?" She asked. "I'm leaving, Point Place. I told Eric some reasons why, but my main reason is because I saw Jackie and Hyde kissing." I told her.

"Hyde said it was meaningless earlier, that Jackie was being annoying and she did that. You know how guys can be." Donna said. I nodded and started crying. "It's not just that though, if I stay here any longer, it's gunna kill me, don't tell them that I told you this. Eric's telling you guys tomorrow." I said.

She nodded and we said goodbye. I walked to a bus station, taking me anywhere but here.
