"You're moving in with Bud!?" I asked Steven as I watched him shove his crap in his bag. After everyone left, Steven told me he was going to yell at Bud. When he got home though, he told Red and I he was moving out. Last time I checked, we hated him.
"Yep." He said as he walked past me and up the stairs to the kitchen.
"Yes, I am." He said. "Have you thought about this decision, like at all!?" I asked him. I hated it, but this had already turned into a fight when he told me he was moving out. We were in the kitchen now. He stopped walking, turned around and looked at me. "Yes, I have. You may not like it, but it's my life, Janie!" He yelled at me.
"I know! But it's Bud we're taking about here, man!" I yelled back. "I know it's Bud, alright! But maybe instead of yelling at me, you should be supportive! Be glad I'm getting along with my dad!" He yelled back. "I know, I just-I just feel like you're leaving me!" I pleaded.
That was true. Over the past few months, I had gotten used to Steven living here. He was always close to me that way. "I don't care if you're selfish, but don't be selfish if it involves me. I'm leaving you? No, Janie this is me leaving you!" He yelled as he turned around and walked out of the door.
I think Steven just broke up with me and I'm pretty sure it's my fault. I stood there, tears forming in my eyes, as I stared at the door, waiting for him to walk back in and Kiss me, tell me he loves me and that this was just a stupid fight, but he never did, and I don't think he ever will.

Eventually, I went to basement. I was sitting there for awhile, crying, when the basement door opened. It was Kelso. "Hey Janie." He said as he sat down next to me. "Hey Kelso." I said as I wiped my tears. "Are you okay?" He asked me. I shook my head. "Steven broke up with me." I told him.
"Damn, I'm sorry, man." He said. I nodded. "Hey...how come you and Jackie didn't get back together. You did tell her you loved her, right?" I asked him. "You're not gonna like the reason." He said shaking his head. "Kelso, I've known you since you were 6 years old,
tell me." I told him."Fine. Jackie didn't wanna get back together cause she's gotta a thing for Hyde." He said. I looked at him. "Oh." Is all I said. I got up from the couch. "Where you going?" Kelso asked. "A place." I said.
I walked up stairs and grabbed the keys to the Vista Cruiser and drove to Bud's. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. "Oh, hey, Steven's not here right now." Bud told me. "Oh, uh, do you know where he might be?" I asked him.
"Yeah, he said he was gunna go to The Hub or something." " Can you give a message?" I asked him, I decided not to go see Steven, I'd just end up crying and we'd end up fighting more. He nodded. "Okay, just tell Steven that it's not just his life he's living, when he and I are together, it's our life, and I really wanna keep it that way, man. I love him." I said.
He said he would tell Hyde. I thanked him and left. I hope everything is fine. I hope Jackie and Kelso make up, and I really hope that Steven and I will be okay.
I got into the car and drove to the water tower, I needed to be by myself for awhile.

Steven was at The Hub looking at a magazine. He didn't want to fight with Janie, and he didn't know what to do about Jackie. He was sitting there when Bud came in. "Hey, listen, I'm getting back with your mom, and I'm leaving, I already dropped your stuff off at Red's. I told him what was happening and you live there again." Bud said.
"Of course your leaving." Steven said. "Oh, and also, you're girlfriend, Janie, came over earlier, wanted me to tell you, that it's not just your life that you're living, when you guys are together, it's your guy's life, and she really wants to keep it that way, man. She loves you." Bud said. Steven didn't say anything and Bud left.
Steven sat there when Jackie came in. "Oh, Steven! I'm so glad your here!" She said as she sat down next to him. "Jackie, please, I'm right in the middle of Smokey and The Band-aid, ok?" He told her. "Ok, fine. But I signed us up for roller-disco lessons at Skateworld tonight. Class starts in half an hour, so we'd better hustle." She told him.
Steven just looked at her annoyed. "You get it? Hustle?" Jackie asked him. "Ok, let me explain something to you. On Friday nights I don't roller-disco, I go out looking for roller-dicoers to punch in the head." Steven told her.
"Ok. Fine. We won't roller-disco. We'll do anything you want." She said. "No, we won't. Look, man, you and I don't have anything in common. You're like a square, y'know like a cheerleader. So just, roller-disco out of here, ok?" Steven told Jackie.
"Fine. Fine. I guess I'm not cool enough to hangout with you anymore." She said. Steven nodded, "Now you're getting it." Jackie got up. "You know what, Steven? You think you know me, but you don't. You don't know me at all." She said as she walked away.
"I know you like unicorns, so bye-bye." Steven said. Jackie was finally gone. 'Damn I miss Janie, man.' Hyde thought to himself.
As Steven left the Hub, Jackie was leaning against the wall waiting for him. "Hey, Hyde." She said. "Oh, No. is the roller disco craze over all ready?" He asked her as he walked away. Jackie followed him.
"Of course not. Look, Hyde, I just wanted you to know that I'm not a square cheerleader." She told him as he turned around. "I'm on the wrong side of the law, because I have this." She continued as she revealed a brown bag and showed it to Steven.
"Oh, no. A paper bag. Run." Steven said sarcastically. Jackie then opened the bag and Steven looked inside it. "Jackie?" Steven said. "Oh, yeah." She said, crossing her arms. "I bought it in the Ghetto." She told him. "Jackie, there is no Ghetto here. I mean there's like that one house that needs to be painted." He said.
"Ok, fine. I bought it from my housekeeper. Whatever." She told him. "So, what are you saying? You wanna be, like, a burnout now?" Hyde asked her. "No, no, Hyde. I just want to be with you. Okay, I think you're one of the coolest, sweetest guys I've ever met." Jackie said.
"No, you don't." He told her as he tossed the bag onto the hood of a car. "Yes, I do." She said. Steven shook his head. "Jackie, no you don't, alright. I don't date." Steven said. "But you date Janie." Jackie challenged.
"That's because I'm in love with her!" He blurted out. When he realized what he said, he talked more because there was no Taking back what he said.
"I love Janie, alright, man? And I know she and I broke up earlier and that both of us don't believe in the government, but I can see myself marrying her in the future, man! I wanna marry her! And I know I don't tell her I love her because I'm afraid the minute I do, something's gunna happen and life's gunna turn back into hell, I'll become more pissed off, and I'll end up losing the love of my goddamn life!" Steven yelled at Jackie.
Before Jackie could respond, a police officer walked over. "Is there a problem here?" He asked them. "No, sir. Officer. There's no problem at all, right Jackie?" Steven said. "There's nothing in the bag." She told the officer.
The officer picked the bag up and opened it. "Okay miss, let's go." The officer said. "No, no. I can't go to jail. I have to cheer tomorrow." Jackie pleaded. "What are you doing, man? The bags mine." Steven said as the officer was going to arrest Jackie. 'Why the hell am I covering for Jackie?' Hyde thought to himself.
"C'mon, cheerleader, dirtbag." He continued. "Ok, man." The officer said as he started putting Hyde in handcuffs. "Oh, my god. Steven Hyde, you were right. We will never be friends. We'll be more than friends." Jackie said. "Because now...I love you." She continued.
"Jackie, I already told you I'm in love with Janie, man. And I wanna marry her, man." Steven told her. 'What the hell just happened.' Hyde thought.
