Everyone was in the Forman's kitchen, even Bob and Midge. Kitty stood next to Red, every one had worried looks on there faces. "Are you sure none of you have heard anything from Janie?" She asked, hoping that it would change the answers that everyone already gave her, which were all no's.

"This seems like a me thing to do, but Janie?" Laurie said. Everyone ignored her. "Mom, I don't think she wants to be found." Eric said. "I just, I can't lose my baby." She said as tears filled her eyes. "Kitty, she didn't die, she ran away." Bob said. "I know that, but you know how this world is, Bob." She said.

"What are we gonna do?" Donna asked. "Well, we can't call the cops because we already know she ran away, I suggest that all we can do is hope for the best." Red explained. "Hope for the best, Red, that is our daughter, our 15 year old daughter who could be anywhere with anyone!" Kitty said.

"You don't think I don't know that? Kitty, there's not a lot we can do about this." He said. She nodded. "You're right. I guess you all can leave now, and-and hope for the best." She said.

They left and a couple hours later, Kitty, Red, and Eric were sitting down for dinner. "How come Steven hasn't been here in awhile?" Kitty asked as they all sat down for dinner. "He has a house Mom." Eric told her. "Oh, I know, but he usually eats with us." She said. "I don't know, ever since Janie left he's been...distant." Eric said.

"Well I would be too if my best friend ran away without a trace." Kitty said. "Yeah...she's not the only one in Hyde's life that's ran away recently." Eric said.

"What do you mean?" Red asked. "H-his mom ditched him, and she's not coming back." Eric told his mom. "Oh my god, he's there all alone." Kitty said. "Red, we have to go help him." She said. "Mom, I don't know if you want to do that, Hyde doesn't exactly except help well." Eric said.

"None sense, Janie's not here, Laurie pretends not to exist to us unless she wants something, and Steven has no one. We are helping him." She said as she got up. "Now wait Kitty." Red tried to stop her. "Red, let's go." She said. He sighed and got up.

Eric went to Donna's, Red and Kitty going to Stevens. "We can't let you stay here all alone Steven. How about you come stay with us." Kitty said. "Now Kitty." Red said. "Steven, go to your room and get some of your things."

He didn't hesitate. "Please Red. If I can't help Janie, let me help Steven." She said. He sighed "Alright, fine."

"You can stay in Janie's room for now." Kitty said as she led Steven up the stairs. She opened the door and Steven looked at it. He's never really been in here, except for that one time he was with Kelso and Fez, no need to explain that.

She had Led Zeppelin posters along with Black Sabbath, and a few others. He wished he stayed in the basement or something, this made him miss her more. He put his bag on the floor and sat on her bed. He glanced at her nightstand.

There was a few rings and necklaces, a pair of sunglasses, along with an old Alice Cooper ticket from a concert the two had gone to during the summer. Also on her nightstand was a picture. He picked it up and stared at it. It was of himself and Janie when they were kids.

He put the picture back. This was going to be difficult. 'I could either suppress my emotions about Janie completely and go for someone else, or I could be a total girl about things and let it mess with me. The first option seemed like the better one, but this was Janie man.' He thought to himself.

Steven Hyde was now staying with The Formans and he was now living in Janie's room. Janie's missing a lot right now, and she's hurting people, without even realizing she's doing it. Causing heartache all around.

Lincoln, Nebraska
Another motel
10 am

It's been four days now and I was now in Nebraska. Every place looked the same. The motels, the people, the places. The only thing that was missing, was my friends.

I don't know what it's going to be like when I go back home. I know Red's foot will be in my ass, but what about everyone else? Will Eric hate me? Will Donna, Fez, Jackie, and Kelso hate me? Will Hyde?

I think I'm starting to get the feeling of liking him out of my system, but I know the minute I see him, the feelings will come rushing back. Maybe I'm in love with him? Who knows.

I got back to the motel late and remembered that I had reefer. I took it out and lit it. It didn't feel the same without the rest of the circle. I could really go for some pizza right now.

I locked the motel door and set off to a pizza place. I got my pizza and walked back to the motel. The room smelled like food now, which in my high state, felt and smelled like heaven.

I ate and then I passed out on the bed. In the morning, I grabbed my stuff and went to the bus stop. Staying then leaving.

Bus stop after bus stop. Motel after motel. 5 days quickly turning into 2 and a half weeks, I felt kind of left out, I had no idea what was happening with my friends, or family. And I was missing prom.

"Steven, you wanna go to prom with me" Jackie asked Hyde. "No." He said. "Why not?" She asked. "Jackie, I don't like you." He said. "Then why'd you kiss me?"

"No, you kissed me, and I'm a guy." He defended. "We can go as friends. I wanna make Michael jealous." She told him. "Fine." He said.

Laurie and Kelso didn't last, she cheated on him, oh the irony. So he took Pam Macy. When they got to prom, they sat at a table. "Steven, can you get me some punch." She said, looking at Kelso.

He did. "Why'd you bring Jackie?" Kelso asked him. "She wants to make you jealous, so go over there and make it right." Hyde told him. "I do, but what am I supposed to do with Pam Macy?" He asked.

"Don't worry, I'm take care of it." Hyde said. Jackie and Kelso ended up together at prom. Hyde and Pam were in the car. She started working her way to him. "I can't. It's not like I don't want to, I just, I can't." He said.

She nodded and he took her home. 'I just turned down sex with Pam Macy. Maybe I love Janie. No, that's insane.' Steven thought to himself.

Steven and Janie then realized, they have no idea what's going on in each other's lives, but they wish they did.
