As you made your way down a long hallway you noticed a door that had caught your attention. A beautiful door with carvings of flowers each one painted gold. The lines were swirled,it was if it was made for a princess. The thought of opening it and seeing what was inside was wonderful. It could be anything really after all almost everything that could be considered a dream happened to you here in the labyrinth. For a brief second your finger tip touched the knob feeling its cold metallic smooth surface. It was enticing but you were quick to realize it could be yet another trap to make you waste your time. As much as you wanted to see what was behind it you began to walk away from it no matter how much it called to you. If you could just find the right door you could finish this once and for all. Once you got your hands on that goblin king you were gonna stick it to him.

Now which door looked like it lead to a castle. Hell which door looked like it would lead you to your friends. The feeling from earlier once again came up. Guilt. What a horrible feeling always consuming you since the second you got here. Though the one feeling you didn't have was regret as selfish as it sounded. You finally had the adventure you longed for all your life. This place had tried to kill you but all of it was beautiful. It was a wonderland and sadly you didn't have much time to explore it. After a minute or two of walking yet another door that gave off top and prestige vibes was in sight. This one was more natural yet it was covered with the brightest jewels in the shape of little birds. You opened the door and were met with a beautiful scenery of bright green trees along with birds that sung the prettiest of notes. It was like a dream come true you could stay there forever. No wait that's what he wanted. Of course Jareth was cunning and knew how to district people the whole point of everything was to make you fail at reaching the castle.

Now you only opened doors that looked like a gate or wooden ones you would find in a servants chamber. Doors that looked like they belong in a castle. Jareth watched intensely from his throne tapping his cane on the edge of his boot. Each door you passed was designed to make you give into it. Everything you could ever want was behind them anybody without a strong will would be trapped there forever. But of course he had to bring somebody who had no intention of quitting anytime soon into his labyrinth. Why didn't he learn from his mistake like last time.

At this rate you would find a door that lead somewhere into his castle. Though it appeared small on the outside it was very different on the inside. There were halls that would lead to ballrooms and hundreds of rooms some even having no purpose. Each he carefully crafted to show of his immense power. To show off what he could do with the flick of his wrist. You could magically walk through any of them and he would lose yet again.

Jareth though about what he could do to prevent any of this from happening. Just like he did with Sarah he would make you forget. Though this time he was going to make sure you couldn't leave the dream even if you wanted to. Only if he allowed it would you ever be allowed to see anything else but an endless ball. It would be like keeping a little pet one he could play with whenever he got bored and of course he would get another goblin to do his bidding.

All he had to do was find a way for you to eat a peach. Who else better then Hoggle you already trusted him and he was easily manipulated. What a perfect plan. Hoggle appered in front of Jareth who had called upon him.

"Ah hedwig how did you enjoy that break I gave you from your so called "adventure" "

Hoggle frowned backing away from him. He was not about to go through this again. Whenever Jareth needed him he was forced to do things he didn't want to.

"Not again. Whatever it is you want you can get somebody else to do it. You have hundred of goblins. Besides its Hoggle!"

"But hogwart my dear fellow. None of my hundreds of goblins are close to (Y/N) besides it's a gift and who doesn't like gifts?"

"Hoggle. My name is Hoggle. Once again get somebody else to do it, I'm done doing your dirty work"

Jareth stood up walking towards hoggle. His cane making a click each time it tapped the ground. Jareth then began to use his height as an advantage to scare Hoggle into obeying.

"Hedgewort I really don't think you have an option here. I'm no longer asking and I have been asking nicely. Its just a pea- Oh wait I see what going on here. You think you made another friend. Well my dear Hedgewort. How has your last friend worked out for you. In fact I don't think you've seen sarah in a very long time have you? Did she stop needing you?"

Hoggle looked down at his feet and one began to softly kick around the dirt left behind by the goblins who surrounded jareth all day long. It was true. Sarah stopped needing him after she beat the labyrinth. Would the cycle simply repeat. Would you make him feel wanted then one day decide he's no longer of value to you. Maybe everything Jareth said about humans was true. But he was so sure you were going to be different

"Come now Hoggle you have a job to do. Give them this peach and nobody will ever make you a fool again you have my word"

Instead of speaking hoggle hesitantly extended his hand awaiting the peach. It was a silent loss. Was he really about to betray somebody who had shown him nothing but kindness again. Jareth was making him do it. He really didn't want to but he also really didn't want to be hurt again. Hurt somebody before they hurt you that's the hoggle way. Nobody could be Hoggle's friend.

Jareth smiled. It was almost to easy. He careful placed the peach in Hoggle's hand. Now all he had to do was wait for you to bite into it.

"Alright then Higgle you can run along now I will do the rest from here"

With his head lowered hoggle turned and walked through the throne room doors only to be taken back to where he and his two other compains were being held since falling through the trap door. Sir didymus was banging on the wall with his stick clearly in a panic not noticing the disappearance and reappearance of Hoggle.

"Now I do say whoever has trapped us must let us out at once. Ambrcious cannot handle such confined spaces!"

There was nothing to do but sit and wait. Hoggle stared at the peach in his hand. Disappointed in himself once again he really deserve to keep encountering such nice people. Jareth was right he was disgusting inside and out.

Each door you passed seemed to lead absolutely nowhere. That was until finally there was a door thay was diffrent then the rest. This one had writing carved into it.

"Obliete"

You weren't sure why but you decided to open this one. You peered inside and there they all were. Each one of your friends sitting with thier head in thier hands waiting to be rescued. You quickly perked up as they took notice of you and quickly ran over

"M'lady. Im supposed to be the one saving thou not the other way around."

"Oh sir didymus what matters is that I found you all and that you are safe."

You hadn't even noticed how convenient it was that you had found your friends. How lucky it was too. You could have easily walked past thier door. You hadn't even realized that it was Jareth making sure you picked that door. You didn't even remember that you had made such a request. All that mattered to you was that they were safe and sound.
