Kade Pov

I woke up from my sleep and grabbed my phone to turn off my alarm and checked the time. It was 7 in the morning. I got up from under my sheets and went to my bathroom and did my business. Then after I brushed my teeth, and brushed my hair. I went back into my bedroom and grabbed clothes out of my dresser and got dressed in, A black t-shirt and some black jeans with my comfort hoodie and my white vans. I grabbed my glasses from my bedside table and then grabbed my phone and checked the time again and I saw that I got a text.

Oakley: Hey, I can't pick you up today, I am not going to school today because I have to go with my family to visit my grandma.

Kade: Ok have fun see you when you come back

I turned off my phone and put it in my pocket and I grabbed my school bag and went downstairs. "Hey, honey". My mom said smiling. "Hey". I said sitting down at one of the bar stools. "So um you have to watch your little sisters because I and your dad are going away for our anniversary weekend". My mom said walking to me. "Ok". I said getting up from my chair. "There is money on the counter for dinners and no partying". My mom said talking with her hands. "Ok, mom I have to go, love you". I said rushing out the door after grabbing my keys and wallet. Then went to my car and got in and put my school bag in the passenger seat and started my car and drove to school.

I got to school and parked in the parking lot and turned off my car and grabbed my school bag and got out of my car and went and started walking up to the entrance of the school. While I was walking up I saw Dexter and his friend. While I walked past them Dexter looked at me and smiled at me. I finally got into the school and went to my locker. When I was grabbing stuff from my locker I felt someone push me into the lockers. "Hey, Kade what are you doing here uh". Duke said looking at me angrily. "To learn". I said looking down. "Did I tell you to speak f*g". Duke said and then I heard yelling. "Get off of him. He did nothing wrong". Someone said but the voice sounds familiar. So I look up and I see Dexter. "Why are you defending him. Are you his Boyfriend or something". Duke said with a disgusted face on. "No, but it's fucked up what you are doing to him". Dexter said and looked at me and he mouths 'Are you ok' at me and I nod my head. "Oh, I just don't support that lifestyle". Duke said getting angry. "Well you should leave because your homophobic ass is not welcomed into our spaces. So fuck off". Dexter said and I saw that Duke left. Then Dexter ran up to me and calm me down because I was crying and I didn't know that I was. "Are you ok Kade". Dexter said pulling me into a hug. "T-thanks but y-you didn't h-have t-to do that". I said sniffing. "I did he was being an asshole". Dexter said and just held me in his arms. I like it when I get hugs from Dexter for some reason. "Well, we have to get to class". Dexter said getting up and holding out a hand for me and I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. "Thanks". I said looking up at him. "You welcome. I will see you later". Dexter said I nodded and he walked away.

I grabbed something from my locker and put it in my pocket and went to the bathroom and went into a stall. I grabbed the thing from my pocket and pulled down my pants and put the sharp thing at my skin and cut myself. I did it three times then got some tissue and cleaned the cuts and then put the bandaid on that I got from my locker and then pulled up my pants and then put the thing back in my pocket and then went and washed my hands and went back to my locker and put the thing back in my locker and grabbed my stuff for my first class and went to it. I'm glad that I don't have my first class of the day with Dexter. I got to my first class and went inside. "Look who has finally joined us. Go sit down Kade and open your textbook". The teacher said and pointed to my seat.

~After first class~

It was after the first class and I walked to my locker and got the stuff for my second class and then went there. Dexter is in this class with me and he sits right next to me. I sat down in my seat and Dexter is not there yet. But when I looked up there he was and he walked to his seat. "Hey". Dexter said sitting down in his seat. "Hey". I said giving him a fake smile and he smiled back.
