Chapter 6

Hi, I am going to change the time to 6 or 7. 

Kade Pov

I woke up and checked the time. It was 7:15 am. So I rolled over and woke up Dexter. "Dex babe wake up. We have to go to school". I said and I hear a groan and then I got pulled on top of him. "Good morning babe". Dexter said smiling at me. "Good morning". I said smiling back and leading down and kissing him. "It's time to get up. I want to go see my mom before school". I said and he got up after I got up. "Ok, I'm up". Dexter said and I ruffed his hair. "You know I hate it when you do that". Dexter said smirking. "I know". I said and we got up and got dressed. I am wearing black ripped jeans and a green t-shirt and Dexter's hoodie that I stole from him. Dexter is wearing blue ripped jeans and a white t-shirt and his chain necklace. "You ready babe". Dexter said. "Yeah, I am". I said and we went downstairs and ate something before we left.

We are on the way to the hospital to see my mom. "So I've been thinking. We never went on a date". Dexter said his thumb rubbing circles on my thigh. "Yeah". I said looking at him. He is looking at the road. He is hot when he drives. "What about we have a picnic at the park". Dexter said. "Yeah, we should". I said.

We got to the hospital and he turned off the car and we got out and went inside the hospital and went to my mother's room. We walked in and saw my grandma. "Hi, grandma. How is mom doing". I said walking to the side of my mother's bed. "She doing good". Grandma said. "That's good". I said while holding her hand. "Yeah, it is". Grandma said smiling a little. "Well me and Dex have to get off to school. I will see you after school. Love you, grandma". I said and walked over to her and hugged her. "Love you too sweetheart". Grandma said letting go of the hug.

Dexter and I walked out to his car, we got in and he started the drive to school. It was quiet so I was thinking about a lot of things. I was thinking of why would this happen to my mother. Also, I want to tell Dexter that I love him but I don't know how to say it to him without frecking out. I might tell him on our date.

~About 15 mins later~

We got to the school and grabbed our school bags from the backseat and we went inside the school holding hands. People were looking at us then our hands. It was weird. But I'm glad that I am holding Dexter's hand. We just walked until someone stopped us. Guess who it was. It was fucking duke. "Hey, What is this I see". Duke said to us looking at our hands. "We are boyfriends so fuck off asshole". Dexter said to Duke. "Oh, your guys are boyfriends. Dexter why. Why are you dating him. Girls are looking at you from left to right. Why don't you date one of them". Duke said smirking. "Hell no. I am dating Kade because he makes me feel whole". Dexter said. "You guys are going to hell because you are doing sinful things". Duke said and walked away.

I felt like I was going to pass out but I held it in because I don't want to seem weak. "Babe, are you ok". Dexter said and we walked to my locker. "Yeah, I'm good". I said. "Well, I will see you in our next class". Dexter said and kissed me and then left. I was just thinking and I felt bad for everything. I blame myself for everything that is going on.

After he was far gone I grabbed the thing out of my locker and closed it and went to the bathroom and went into a stall. I pull my pants down and grabbed the thing that was from my locker and put it on my thigh and slid the thing across my thigh a little. I keep saying to myself that it's my fault for everything that is going on. I slid it across my thigh again and then I heard a voice call my name. "Kade, are you in here". The voice sounds like Dexter's voice. I think he followed me. "Babe". Dexter said and I heard a knock on the bathroom stall that I am in. "I'm in here I will be out in a sec". I said and got a tissue and wiped the blood and put a bandaid on it and then pulled my pants back up and put the thing in my pocket. Then I came out of the stall. "What were you doing babe". Dexter asked and his voice stirred with worried. "Nothing". I said looking away from him. "Babe, look at me". Dexter said walking towards me and lifting my chin so I will look at him. "Babe what's wrong". Dexter said. The thing in my pocket poked me and I yelped. "What happened are you ok". Dexter said pulling away and looking all over me until he looked at my thigh and he saw blood. Shit, it made it bleed. "What is in your pocket, Babe". Dexter asked in a worried voice. He reached into my pocket and pulled the thing out of my pocket and looked at it and then looked at me and he hugged me. "Hey, everything is going to be ok Babe. Why didn't you tell me that you wanted to hurt yourself". Dexter said and I just laid my head on his chest and cried. "Because I didn't want to tell you because you will think I am gross". I said crying. "Hey, don't think that. You are the most handsome boy here". Dexter said. "But I think it's all my fault for everything that has happened. Like with my mother, with my father. I just blame myself for everything". I said crying. "Babe don't think that. It wasn't your fault babe. It was no one. Things happen". Dexter said and just hugged me tighter. "Do you want to go home"? Dexter asked. "Yeah, I do". I said still a little crying. "Ok, let's get our stuff and head home". Dexter said and we cleaned up the blood under my pocket and then went out of the bathroom and got our stuff. We checked ourselves out and went home.
