Ch# 85 The Infinity Castle (Demon Slayer)

It's been 6 months since Shinobu and I have been dating. You don't really see many Demon Slayer Corp members dating. They usually are trying to work on their performance against demons. That and they are always on the road killing demons. A lot has happened over those 6 months. The Mist and Love Hashira were able to kill Upper Moon 5 and Upper Moon 4 with help from Tanjiro. Now that Muzan's ranks are weakened this is the perfect time to attack the Demon King. The Hashira are now tasked to train the members of the Demon Slayer Corp to help them. I soon learned that Miss Tamayo has been helping the Demon Slayer Corp since the days of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the first person who could use breathing techniques. She and Shinobu were able to make a serum that could turn any female demon back into a human again. They aren't sure why it can't turn male demons back into humans.  Now I am forced to stay with Shinobu and Miss Tamayo to figure out a way to get a serum to turn all demons back into humans. We were inside the Butterfly Mansion with the windows closed and the only thing giving us light were candles sitting on the window and desk.

Tamayo: Here, try this. She hands me a glass tube with a red liquid in the bottle. I grab the container and chug it down. It had a burning taste as it went down my throat.

Y/n: What is this!? It burns! I hold onto my throat as I coughed. Shinobu holds my arm.

Tamayo: I wanted to try something. I wanted to see if giving you blood from a male demon would help your body be able to turn that blood into a cure. She said as she drew some of my blood. she put it into another tube as she hands it to Yushiro.

Tamayo: Here, lets see if this works. He drink the liquid as he sat there unaffected.

Tamayo: ~Sigh~ Another fail. She writes something down on a piece of paper. She puts the sheet on the table in Shinobu's office and sat down on the chair.

Tamayo: 37 experiments that have resulted in failure.

Yushiro: We don't have much time till the Demon Slayers Corp goes into battle against Muzan. He announced as Shinobu hold up what looked like a poison.

Shinobu: If anything we have something that can stop Muzan In his tracks. I call it the Anti-Kibutsuji drug. With this drug, there are four effects that will stop him. Tamayo grabs the container and put a lid on it.

Tamayo: I will hang onto this. She puts it into her kimono. She had this look on her face. It was that of questioning something. Before I could say anything about it.

Bird: CAH CAH! THE HASHIRA ARE IN BATTLE WITH MUZAN KIBUTUSUJI AT THE MASTER'S RESIDENCES! QUICKLY GET THERE CAH! I heard a bird yell. I quickly got up and I sprinted out of the room and towards Kagaya's house. I got there almost instantly as the house was destroyed. A big explosion went off. I got closer to see Muzan with branches surrounding him with his body parts severed.

Y/n: MUZAN! I screamed as I took my sword. He looked my way as his limbs reattached. He caught the handle of my sword and threw me off balance into the branches. He hold my sword as he was inspecting it.

Muzan Thoughts: This sword is mysterious. It is stealing my life force from my body. He saw his strength going into the blade of the sword.

Muzan Thoughts: Is it storing energy? So why didn't I sense his energy force being taken away? He stopped think as spikes came out of the handle. He cut his hand off as I brought back my sword.
