Two extremely intelligent and hardworking people with no real family left anymore end up crossing paths.
Will it end in hatred or will they end up finding an unexpected home?
I do not own the characters, only the storylines
TW: some mentions of severe PTSD, touch sensitivity, verbal and physical abuse, SA, r**e, homophobia, anxiety attacks, self-harm, grief, eating-disorders, depression
TW: slight lime
also just a reminder, this is a fictional story and any character's sexuality in no way connects to any real life entities.
its gonna be a long night besties so get ready (i attempted to proofread but honestly theres probably still typos there so heh enjoy)
-General POV-
"Have I known you twenty seconds or twenty years?" She smiles "Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close?"
"FOREVER AND EVERRRR" They both sing along to the stereo of Ricky's car. It's snowing outside, the whole city's covered in christmas lights. Nini rests her head against the cold glass of the window, looking out. Ricky's driving to his apartment, one hand on the wheel, one gently resting on her leg as she fiddles with his rings. The roads are empty, only a few cars driving by so it doesn't take them too long to pull into Ricky's building parking.

-Ricky's POV-
We're walking to the lobby. Nope.
Correction: I'm walking to the lobby and she's on my back putting her cold hands on my cheeks.
We've been a lot more clingy today, I think we're both kinda nervous to talk about this. I walk into the lobby, the main desk is empty, I start to walk to the elevator, Nini still on my back, her face is now leaned against my shoulder, I snap a quick picture and she immediately slaps the side of my head. "I hate you" she grumbles. I chuckle at her grumpy voice.

"Rick!" A voice greets us as we enter the elevator. "Gary! hey!" I say. Gary's been the liftman here since I was in like the first grade. He smiles at me, raising his eyebrows at the girl I've been piggybacking. "Hello miss" he says politely. I can tell she's embarrassed, I'm trying not to laugh. "Good evening" she says in a small voice. I live on the 67th floor, the penthouse so the elevator ride up is long, she stays on my back.
