"I just want you to know that you're very special... and the only reason I'm telling you is that I don't know if anyone else ever has."― Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower-General POV-
It's around 12 pm, its a dull day outside and the blinds are still shut from this morning so the room is pretty dark, not taking into account the small moon lamp on the coffee table. Nina starts to stir gently, half awake and unaware of what is happening, she panics at the arms around her waist, jumping up as reflex. The tall figure next to her rolls onto the ground, groaning in pain.
"shit" she says, eyes wide. "shit I'm sorry I didn't-" "It's okay ace, you uhh.. you feeling better?" he says standing up. She sits down on the edge of the sofa bed, slowly remembering the events of last night. Ricky gets her glass of water from the fridge, sitting down next to her, maintaining some space. "I..." she's muttering under her breath. She turns to him, glossy eyed, hesitantly pulling the rim of his t-shirt collar, exposing his shoulder, thin red scratches trailing down towards his torso and back. "Nini.." "Neens its okay.." "Ace...??"
"I.. I'm so sorry" she moves back further away from him. "Hey.. hey no.. it's okay, it's not your fault it's okay.."
"I- I can't believe I did that, oh god and their bathroom and vase, and Jamie was in the house and you.. oh my god you I told you that and you- and everyone else- and I'm not wearing the same clothes anymore and and- the thing- and I haven't told D-Dr Freedman and- fuck- my diner shif-" He takes her hands in his, stopping her rambling.
"Nini.. listen to me" He says calmly "Jamie is okay, no one got hurt, you had a PTSD attack you cannot blame yourself for that, this is not your fault, I promise you Madi changed you, not me not anyone else, Gina called the diner and said you're taking the weekend off which you really need okay? I spoke to the music shop too.. We can call Dr. Freedman together, how about we make some lunch, something small I promise, breathe a little and then we can call, you can go in on Monday you don't have to go in today, we can stay in all weekend and watch movies and talk if you want to.. and you can just breathe for a bit okay? slow down a little.. how does that sound?"
She looks at him for a while, he smiles at her patiently, still loosely holding her hands, sitting opposite each other on the couch. Suddenly she leaps into his arms, straddling him, face buried in his neck, just hugging him tight. He reciprocates, wrapping his arms gently around waist.

"Hey I'm gonna go take a shower" Nini says softly. Ricky nods from the kitchen where he's cutting onion and capsicum. The doorbell rings just before she goes to the bathroom. The pair make their way to the door, Ricky stands a few feet behind her.
EJ's at the door, Cosmo in one hand, a grocery store bag in the other. Ricky takes Cosmo, kissing her all over and thanking EJ. He walks back to the kitchen, giving the two some space.
